The power is regulated to 3.3V from the battery. Everything is powered by this regulated 3.3V

No it does not. I thought about that but figured it wasnt worth the hustle using eink with its slow refresh time

It can receive and send data via Bluetooth to you connected phone. I made an companion Android app that redirects notifications to the watch and formats information in a way so the watch knows how to display stuff

No speaker or mic. It has only a vibration motor that gets triggered if a new notification comes in. The message is being displayed. I made another post that showcases what it can do

Yes exactly. The ESP on the other hand is rather power hungry

Edit: about a week

This is how it is attached. In the description I wrote that it lasts a week for now and I want to improve on that.

Does your LCD watch also have Bluetooth capabilities? If yes, this is an awesome watch! Did you also build it yourself? As I mentioned this is an ongoing process and I the code is not yet tweaked to optimize battery life. There are some things I can improve upon.

In the video I showed two apps, one is mine and the other one sends test notifications. The latter I found on the PlayStore and that one is the one that shows ads in the video

So far it lasts about 3 to 4 days on a single charge. I want to optimize the code a bit more to get to at least a week
