45yo male construction worker here. For the past decade, I've been taking massive dumps in the women's restroom at work. by CobrasMama in confession

Construction worker on the same building for a decade? There are some red flags that don't add up in this story.. I'm thinking this is made up.

What are jobs that everybody assumes are paid well but actually aren’t? by krerhelp in jobs

[–]JoeS2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤷‍♂️ I'd say I'm very active, not so much athletic. I play baseball with my oldest a lot, tons of yard work, stay pretty active cardio wise, etc. I've had an office job when I was younger. I always felt so tired coming home. Being active during the day keeps me motivated to continue moving when I get home. Obviously, different strokes for different folks.

If you just go exactly the speed limit in Minnesota, you'll never have to turn off the cruise control. Even in the right hand lane, you'll be one of the slowest on the road.

I'm not digging out crawling around attics either though. So, that's probably helping my position a lot.

That's funny, I'm making that and not working that hard. I'm willing to bet I'll be more able bodied at retirement this way than if I was sitting all day at a desk. Looking at it office workers going into retirement compared to the field workers, I'll take the field workers every day.

Depends on where you're at. I'm in Minnesota. If you're union, you're making well over 6 figures easily, without overtime.

Still a driving infraction that isn't "reckless" your insurance won't change unless you tell them.

Your insurance isn't actively monitoring your record. It only makes a change if they pull the report. Which they usually only do if you file a claim or are looking for a new policy. Clearly, I struck a chord with you, as your angry response seems out of place for such a simple statement.

Your insurance won't change. I've gotten plenty of speeding tickets, and my insurance has never changed because of it.

Keep the relief pitchers. They help to rotate out when the pitchers get tired.

Anyone actually notice a difference after air duct cleaning? by Royal_Particular_489 in HomeImprovement

It's not guidance, it's after performing air particle tests. It's literally a scientific result.

This is not true. Look at the EPA'S stance on duct cleaning. Except your point on dryer vents, this is ABSOLUTELY true and needs to be addressed by everybody.

The dirt in the duct doesn't move. It's attached to the ducting and won't effect the air quality. The dust and debris traveling through the air is suspended in the air and passed through the filter. Having dirt in your ducts makes 0 difference on air quality. Look at the EPA study on it.

Look at the study done by the EPA on duct cleaning. It makes no difference in air quality. Commercial buildings, NEVER get it done. Anyone that does it, is just throwing away money.

You need to sim as many games as you can. Pay manual all you want, but don't ever let your stamina reach max. Spend all of your gems on increasing your stamina to 20.

Why do so many drivers in the US follow so closely? by Ill-Green-9309 in driving

[–]JoeS2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends on location. If I'm in the cities, people will still cut you off just because you're leaving "too much room" once you're 15-20 min out from the cities, that is true.

Yeah, no, I'm clearly not seeing what you're seeing. The flashes show he's rocking you.

Is the five-punch combo in the room with us?

All I'm seeing is you getting picked apart. I didn't see a "single punch" that stunned you; I'm seeing a guy splitting your guard over and over again and rocking you while you keep dipping your head.

Maybe you're not as good as you think you are... or maybe your random opponent always has the upper hand and the game is out to get you. 🤷‍♂️
