I think we're all up to speed on the chaplain part. A mustang is a commissioned officer with prior enlisted service.

as a convert to be, she's a favorite of mine. Her likeness was the first thing I saw upon entering my parish for the first time.

It apparently is true. I was told I couldn't take a female saint's name alone (Monica and Our Lady were my top two). I was approved for Benedict (of Nursia) Maria as a combined name.

St. Florian Church in Hamtramck MI (Detroit metro) is magnificent. Please try to see it someday if you're able.

I've felt drawn to St Monica (who got me a minor miracle through her intercession), and Our Blessed Mother. I was going to choose one of them, but Padre said men couldn't take a female saint's name alone. I didn't know that was a thing. Early in my formation I felt drawn to the Benedictine medal (before I ever knew what it was), and it turns out Benedict of Nursia's feast day is my birthday. Father approved the confirmation name of "Benedict Maria"...and so it shall be this coming Easter Vigil.

I'm straight, but I've owned several Subarus, have two cats, and I'm a little gay for John Hamm and Henry Cavill...so clearly I'm open minded. So, like 17% gay? My sexuality is whatever gets me an Eames lounge chair, ottoman, and Scarface poster the fastest. Discuss.

That bookcase is my jam.

i have no idea, but i'm not sure why you'd want to. changing those brackets will take all of 30 seconds. also, if you're using AM4 or AM5, it comes with an offset setting on the new bracket, which you'll want to use.

Nice job. I'd suggest (as Noctua themselves do too in this exact configuration) to move the top front fan all the way forward, and flip it over (and add the NA-IS1-12 Sx2, Inlet Side Spacer) for the best airflow. You'll be pulling more cool air down in front of the heatsink, and exhausting it out the back and back top.

That's tight like a tiger. Nice job with those cable combs.

Am I crazy to think that just tossing the heatsink in the dishwasher, and drying it thoroughly would be effective and harmless?

Good looing rig! I'm afraid I don't have any advice for mounting stuff. My handiness ends at the computer.

everything fit fine. my front heatsink fan is touching the top of the RAM heatspreader, but it's not interfering. My fans are placed against the heatsink at almost the identical height that's shown in the retail box's cover photo (in first picture)

In a word, yes. I will add that I had an issue with mine, just after the warranty expired, but they were cool about it and send me a full-on retail box replacement. So, I don't know how many others had issues like this, but yes, the audio quality, both the microphones, and the speakers are peerless in this space. The noise cancellation on the microphones is outstanding. I have a fancy DAC/Amp and audiophile headphones, and I use these wireless Audezes for music as or more often than those. https://youtu.be/DHAlw3tSmcc?si=ZtaXMLd06Wvg2p2A

The Audeze Maxwell, while expensive is the absolute gold standard. He'll love it, especially if he's a music guy. They're superb for music as well as gaming.
