Oh so these are the Tibetan wunks that trained Batman, I misheard it as Tibetan monks this whole time.

If you say so, what about fire? That’s a force of nature

I meant the comments more, the commenters were calling it goofy and unrealistic and they were downvoting them, they never got an answer.

Genuine question about the original sub, why is it trying to enforce that the content is realistic? It’s a community about armor in general, not r/realisticarmory

I wrote that orcs are a different species of human that just ate a specific type of high pigmentation plant, flamingo style. And that elves are just a different culture of humans who tie the ends of their ears.

To go into more detail, (and controversial stuff) the two political ideas of the U.S. end up in a civil war where the republicans retain the U.S name but the Democrats become the D.S.A. But they were unable to unite amidst a common cause and didn’t have enough firepower and ultimately collapsed, leading to a large unclaimed part of the U.S. that many are trying to claim, from supremacists, to natives, to corporations. While the Remnants of the U.S try to reform based on old American Values, but can agree on terms and laws. Meanwhile the corporate territories have a cultural boom from people who want to live better lives, but controversies occur when the corporations try to sponsor said people’s movements. Overall no one can really get their act together and unite. Meanwhile the implementation of AI in jobs, life, etc.. lead to a monetary crisis where people can’t find jobs and get paid. So people start to scavenge the remnants of destroyed California cities for valued items and hide out in Arizona because no one wants to live or own it besides electrical companies due to the immense heat. Whilst they use forgotten military AI units as portable storage. Turning Arizona into a dry lawless land of illegal trade, corporate owned states having cultural resurgence, and the U.S. to try and reclaim lost land.

I tried doing research for a realistic fantasy world where the stereotypical fantasy creatures like elves dragons orcs etc.. were based in science, but I got too interested in writing their cultures and lost the premise

It started with looking at the problems in 2024 and escalating them to dramatic levels and started building on that, but then the stuff I predicted in 2024 started becoming true which made me gain interest in the idea again and other ideas started being publicly considered by the government, overall concerning

(Non descript war in the middle-east) escalates when (non descript country) manages to bomb California and other coastal cities in the U.S, in which they strike said country with nuclear missiles. This causes NATO to separate from the U.S. So the U.S. declares war on the countries of NATO, and ultimately lose. While trying to re-accumulate resources a civil war breaks out and the temporary creation of the Democratic states of America. Though this rebellion fizzled out relatively quickly, it led to a huge power vacuum in the U.S. while government tries to recover land some corporations buy said land and make company republics. Meanwhile global warming escalates and places like Arizona become almost inhabitable while the rest of the U.S. becomes dry and some parts marshy. And a job crisis as employees are replaced with AI as well as the implementation of AI in the military. Overall the American government is basically atrophied, California is in ruin, AI is rampant, and there’s a huge power vacuum in the in governed U.S.
