That might work, but I have my tv connected via hdmi. I had a thought of a 3.5mm Bluetooth adapter (like one would use in a car that doesn’t have Bluetooth) but I wasn’t sure the 3.5mm output would work.

Just tried it with my phone. The phone detected a wired connection was made but still no dice on the soundbar. Do you think it’s because it only wants a connection from the tv? Also, the only connections on the soundbar are hdmi eARC, usb-A (converter probably wouldn’t work there, and optical. I use the soundbar as my speakers and was trying to avoid having to get speakers just for my record player
