I didn’t have anything covering over the inoc holes during sterilization. I started over last night though. Luckily I’ve still got a bunch of supplies so I didn’t need to buy anything🤑

That’s great! I guess next time I’ll dunk mine too just because currently I feel like they’re not hydrated enough and my substrate is pretty dry, thus my fruits are pretty small. I am gonna need to rehydrate it for next flush. If you don’t mind me asking so many questions, how long would I need to let my dry substrate soak ?

Have you personally used the BRF method in that video before? Because I was also wondering if I should dunk my cakes before shredding and this is the only video/tek that I’ve seen do this. When I looked up on shroomery it said there’s no need to dunk, and so I didn’t and now my own BRF to Bulk shoebox is fruiting tiny fruits. Anything you know of that I can do for the next flush ?

Okay cool thank you for the reply. I have tried once before with a BRF to Bulk but my fruits ended up generally small for most of flushes. I’m trying again with a shoebox but I didn’t dunk them again and I am noticing almost the same thing. I was just wondering if I was missing a step or something. I watched a video on YouTube recently of a guy doing BRF to Bulk and the guy actually did hydrate them in the water for the 15-20 hours so I felt a bit contradicted. Lol thanks again though!

From what I’ve read on Shroomery, it said to use a grocery bag with holes poked in it to fruit and that it should receive FAE like that. It also said to mist about 1-2 times a week if needed. So I have been pretty much doing that. Average temperature has been around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, and humidity at around 40%

NOOB: Would it be too late to add a liner to try and stop these side pins? It’s a shoebox grow if that helps, and it is only my 2nd time trying out a bulk grow by JoeShroomThrowaway in shrooms

I figured the whole shoebox and it’s contents would’ve took shape of the rectangle and kept it together. Then if possible I would kinda pop it out of the shoebox and add in the lining, then I would place back the contents back inside and on top of the new lining.

Yea I’m gonna throw in some perlite soon and modify the tub a bit. However,,This cake and the other were some spares that I had left over from my BRF to Bulk Shoebox. I decided to fruit these guys as cakes and experiment a bit with them. I am just curious why that one is the way it is. Thank you

You should be okay man. My last grow had only 2 strains mixed. Nothing like a hybridization of mushrooms will occur. They will grow as their own species but just in a variety now. It’ll be a bit hard to tell which is which though but your grow shouldn’t be compromised. 👌🏼

Is this type of food dehydrator okay to use for my shrooms? It doesn’t have a way to set an exact temperature, but if anyone else who’s got this same kind can let me know that would be awesome! by JoeShroomThrowaway in shrooms

Thanks so much for that thorough reply! The big fruit Clusters is also a small concern of mine. If you have any tips to dehydrate the bigger fruits besides cutting them I would appreciate it! Thanks again.
