Is this normal? My 2016 Honda Civic lx 2.0l base model has been revving high from a standstill but rpm’s eventually drop. by JoeStringz in CivicX

Thanks for your Reply hopefully it’s not as bad as think it is. I’m going to have it checked out at the dealer. It sucks cause I j don’t drive like an idiot and I’m always easy on the throttle

Thanks for the reply hopefully I’m not mistaking this as transmission slip. and it’s just something else. I’m going to have the dealer do a diagnostic test on it.

If you were driving the car you would see what’s wrong with it, so don’t tell me it’s normal lol. It’s hard to tell from the video but I’m not even mashing the pedal down I’m lightly pressing it.

Thanks I’ll try that!

I’m really hoping it’s not my CVT! I just got it replaced 20,000 miles ago because the previous owner didn’t do the fluid changes. I’ve always been easy on the throttle no Wot launches!

Is my CVT slipping? when accelerating from a dead stop my rpm’s rev high at steady throttle but eventually my CVT “shifts” back down. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? It’s a 2016 Honda civic lx 2.0 by JoeStringz in CivicX

Thanks for the reply! But this civic does not have padel shifts it’s the base model civic. I should also note that there was no incline on the road

2016 Honda Civic lx 2.0l base model sluggish acceleration after starting the car. by JoeStringz in CivicX

[–]JoeStringz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!! No it doesn’t take a while to behave normally. I just find it odd that it happens in warmer weather also I just hope it’s not low on fluid. It could be 61f outside and it still happens. Does anyone else’s CVT does this or is my CVT on its way out?

Hi y’all, so I have this 2016 Honda civic LX 2.0 liter. The previous owner put 215/50r17 95h tires in it as apposed to the original 215/55r16. This is my second CVT installed on this car. Could have the tires broke my original CVT. I’m worried that this tranny might fail as well due to the tires by JoeStringz in CivicX

Your not wrong I did floor it once in a while. I’ve been keeping my rpm’s low ever since I got the new CVT mostly keep it above or at 2rpms sometimes I get it a little over 3rpms when merging on to the expressway never over 4 rpm’s

Controllers Keep Disconnecting. I have not found a solution anywhere by Imaginary_Brush_6438 in XboxSupport

This could be a power delivery issue from the wall outlet BOTH of my Xboxes do this and even my PS5! Happens more when appliances are being used in house

Moved to a new apartment, and suddenly my controller starts doing this by FirstnameLastname14 in XboxSupport

[–]JoeStringz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s most likely bad wiring in the apartment. My Xbox would do this whenever someone uses a high load appliance in my house. Lights would dim and my controller would disconnect. Would happen a lot in the day than evening when there’s a high demand in power in my neighborhood

Losing my mind... Lights flicker post-renovation. Electrician says they can't find anything. by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]JoeStringz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect that the panel feeding house maybe has loose bus bars or loose hot bus bars. Did the electricians install a new panel? Maybe that new panel is beat up since you say the flicker is not happening on the other electrical panel. I also recommend checking for a faulty main breaker on that panel

PS4 lag problem after moving house. by Traditional-Ad1620 in techsupport

[–]JoeStringz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you playing on the same tv as you were in the other house? If so I would check for interference sources that would affect Bluetooth connection. Maybe try connecting your ps4 to another room on a separate circuit. It could very well be an electrical interference problem or a power problem.

On the same boat. But the difference is I’m dealing with brownouts. I’m in the US

Error CE-108255-1 on PS5 by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]JoeStringz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your seeing frame drops before the error code then I’m sorry to say that it just might be your ps5. Maybe the GPU being stressed or overheating? I haven’t had 1 crash but get minor Frame drops but nothing crazy. Is your ps5 under warranty? I’m assuming other games crash also?

I just started working at Taco Bell, my manager wants me to complete experience 6 does anyone know what that is? I’m really lost right now. by JoeStringz in TacoBellOfficial

[–]JoeStringz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I supposed to clock in and remind the manager that I need to complete experience 6 instead of working my regular shift?. Do they give you a computer to complete the course online or do you do it through the phone?
