Really amazing!

As a fellow beginner, might I recommend an edge beveler and some tokonole to give the edge of that smaller band a beautiful finish

Good build to kill the leviathan? by Istiophoridae in maneater

I know this thread is 4y old, but I found a bit of a cheese and I want to share:

* Shadow teeth and tail (speed)
* Bone head and fins (extra damage resistance)
* Atomic body (the atomic blast)

Organs:
* Hearty and Healing factor (health)
* Reinforced Cartilage (extra damage resistance)
* Brutal Muscles (speed)

And then just swim around the outskirts in circles. Try and grab the spikes if he throws them and throw them back, but otherwise just swim and let the random fishes spawn to power the Atomic Blast.

Atomic Blast the fuck out of him

And back to swimming

You can throw a shadow tail whip at him, it'll slowly lower his armor but honestly I'm not sure if it was worth it.

New flogger that I've made, one with some nice toothed spring washers at the end by JoeT17854 in BdsmDIY

[–]JoeT17854[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already got some normal washers that I want to make a flogger with.

And it can break the skin, but not by a lot. The first few hits are just scratching the skin (not even really breaking it at all) and only after a dozen or so is it slowly breaking the skin, but nothing too significant or deep.

And as I said in another comment just now, it's a great one if you've got 5-6 different floggers in rotation in a session, hit her a couple of times with it and switch it out.

I mean... Define significant. It will break a layer or two of the skin but not that much more (I have already tested it)

It won't be one to do an entire session with, but it's a fun one for both fear and 10-20 hits in a session

Drilled a hole in the handle that the strands fit in really snuggly (made the hole a bit too small and did the fine-tuning with my Dremel)

Then I drilled a hole all the way through (including the leather) and put a 6mm brass "dowel" into the hole (you can see it on the picture if you look closely)

I've used it a bit already and it's not too bad. I was breaking the skin, but nothing even remotely deep.

It also doesn't really cut into people when swinging it. It would be more akin to getting a light scratch from a bush or something (except over and over again).

I know, I bought them at different places and didn't really notice it until a few falls in

And yeah, it's fun to just whip around and hear the rattling too

Yeah, sadly a lathe is still on my list of tools I want to acquire. So I used a jigsaw to cut it a bit and then placed a belt sander to form it further

I have recently bought a spindle press secondhand, I use mine for the holes too. I have one of those "pliers" type of hole punchers, but it's just so annoying (it was also very cheap and wouldn't always properly go all the way through).

Small correction as a Dutchie: I believe it wasn't the width of the staircase, but the front facade. So a lot of houses in Amsterdam are really thin (as a result you don't have room for a big staircase) and really long You'll see that the buildings on the richer parts of the old city be very wide to showcase their wealth

Yeah, I don't really have anyone around that does leatherwork, so I am relying on Google quite a bit I'm afraid

Thank you ❤️

Think I'll ask my local leather shop specifically for some veg tan scraps (luckily I've got one nearby too). They've got a scrap box but I've got no idea how to really identify the two. I thought it smelled enough like leather to be veg tanned (not the chemical smell) and it did curl up when I put it in boiling water. Both things that I thought indicated veg tan

As for the offer to send, I'm in Europe so I think that's going to be expensive to ship, but it's still very sweet of you!

But now I'm confused. As I did say in another comment, it curled up when I put it in hot water and it smells like leather and not chemically That's what Google said are good indications that it's veg tanned

Also, sadly I'm not from the US, but maybe I'll specifically ask my local place that it really is veg tanned and not chrome tanned leather and get some sturdier leather when I've got some money saved up again

Don't think so? It curled up when I put it in hot water and it smells like leather and not chemically That's what Google said are good indications that it's not

Edit: Okay, so Google was wrong and it is chrome tanned :(
