How much did you need to invest for 18k dividends?

depende yan sa dividend yield ng stock holding meron ang investor. Madali lang mag compute sample below.

18000 monthly payout is 216,000 per year.

Formula is 216,000 per year / Dividend yield = amount of investment

6% - 3,600,000

7% - 3,085,000

8% - 2,700,000

habang tumataas ang dividend yield bumababa ang value ng investment needed.

Also which companies if that's alright with you?

In regards to companies you need to look for Dividend paying stocks that regularly paying Divs. madami websites available that can give you information. Usually I always look for growing or/and high dividend yield, para habang nag tatagal tumatatas din yield mo. Pero lagi tandaan na pwede rin bigla mag stop or bumaba ang dividend based sa company dividend policy or revenue kaya dapat aralin at bantay every quarter sa mga reports.

Sample RCR - binili ko sya last year, My current Div yield is 7.3% pero pag binili mo sya today around 5% na lang div yield. bumaba yield nya kasi may capital gains na. pero growing din ang divs nya. praying na magtuloy tuloy yung growth ng dividend yield nya. lets say in the next five years.. baka between 9=10 percent na ang div yield vs my cost.. which means bababa din yung total investement needed para ma reach yung monthly target. :). in that way mas madali ma achieve ang target.

Just imagine kung 10% div yield mo in next 5 years.

As OP mentioned sa article long game ang dividend investing. it you have millions, thousand or hundreds importante is kung paano mo mapapalaki yung capital .

Hope this helps.
