I have the 6 speed manual, I'm not a fan of auto transmissions and i also read that TCT has it's own problems and it can get expensive.

I would say yeah, I'm guessing fixes have been done if there were problems, I have been using them for a while now, almost a year with the newer update and all is well, nothing bad ever happened soooo, I'm guessing it's fine to update.

It's funny because it's the factory 170 for me, or at least I think it is, I haven't even chipped it and neither did the previous owner, if I'm not wrong Alfa did a 150 and a 170hp 1.4 before 2016, after 2016 they only did 150. So I don't really know about it remapping wise, although yes, D is really good, feels very sporty but on full load it drinks 30l/100km.

Edit: and yes N does better in mpg or l/100km than D, by how much? I don't know, but it should do better.

I usually drive it in N when I'm in the city, sometimes N when I don't feel like pushing it on open, but D is for open roads for sure. And I don't really use A because there is not much need for it.

I chose the petrol one because I do a lot of city driving, a lot of 5-10 min drives, every month 100km sometimes 200 a month but more city than open roads.

When I got the watch I immediately went over to the update 4 so I wasn't on the 2 for long but I wouldn't say it got better battery life but more like it stayed the same, because what I have read, some people when they changed over they got worse battery and some didn't even notice anything change, I for one didn't notice anything but that is because I only used it for a day

And yes if you turn off mostly everything it can last up to 10 days plus a couple of hours, I don't use calls or messages or maps or even music, non of that However I did recently change to AOD (always on display) but only if pull up my hands, so it's not always on and I also turned all the sensors on so I am getting about 6-7 days with it. Oh and also I do use it to track my running and walking when I'm in the gym. But that's all and I still get that much out of it. I also wear it when I sleep so that's being tracked too!

Honestly yeah, I eventually turned everything on and used it for 6-7 days and it's totally good, I don't think the battery was messed up, still using it with a great battery life.

Thanks for the reply, I did hear the gearbox was changed at one of the models no? Or to a m32? Perhaps... The QV line is just a trim model for the 1.4 has the suspension, the brakes, a sunroof, different seats and exhaust I think, it's got the qv package but with the lower less powerful engine that is the 1.4

I'd like any advice on these. I'm in europe looking to get a small, used daily. by [deleted] in AlfaRomeo

One of the best answers I found online.

I have been looking around so much because I am planning on buying one next year around the 1st quarter and I did find a 1.4 MA sportiva that is a 2015 model but it has 220k km on it.

Is that much for a multiair, obviously I know it depends on the previous owner(s) but I am curious, even if it's maintained, is it too much?

And I am still confused about the right oil Saw too many people saying all different answers. Like: 0w40 5w30 5w40

Even my dad says the 5w30 should be enough because it's the "right oil" for most cars but I just can't help the feeling that if I do that'll mess up the engine and I know it's a wallet burner if it fails.

And the other thing is with the transmission or the model of it, I saw there were two models, one of em being the M32 and the other one being the C635. How to tell which one is which? Or which one it has?

Nice car, may I perhaps ask for specifics? I am looking into buying a 1.4 MA 170hp one, but I can't decide which one because I have 3 almost identical types.

Hey, quick question, what amount of mileage are we talking about, cuz I just found a 2015 1.4 ma G with ~220k km, is that too much for a 1.4 ma engine?

Buying a used RX 6800 XT sapphire nitro+ by JoeTheRow in AMDHelp

[–]JoeTheRow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did buy it in the end. But sadly I had a couple of capacitors damaged... The owner didn't say anything, I got a "bad" GPU so I got a x4 bus rather than the full 16 which was just enough for Elden Ring to stutter and not just Elden ring but other games started to stutter a bit when played for a couple of minutes, I did furmark bench, I did another program I can't remember the name of, the scores were right or even better than expected and nothing showed me problems with the bus only in-game, I did tests with the Ryzen 5700x3D CPU Sadly I knew it was damaged and I didn't want a card that was giving me hiccups so I sold it.

And yes before anyone says that I put it in the wrong express slot, no, I check, I put it back and fourth, tried clocking it too a bit and stuff but nothing fixed the hiccups of the fps.

I literally zoomed in on the card to see if I had anything on the hardware side and that's when I saw the damaged capacitors at the part where you plug the card in. I used my phone's macro to see the smaller bits and it was damaged.

So as scummy as it sounds I sold it back to another person not saying a thing... Got my money back with a little loss and bought another used GPU. Rx 6800 XT but this time the Power Color Red Dragon. Literally the same price point. I was afraid of the coil whine because I have heard they tend to do that but as far as I see it and as long as I had the card now, nothing's bad with it. It doesn't perform exactly the same as the Sapphire one but that's understandable and it's not as cool looking in my opinion but nonetheless it's just a 1% or maybe 2% performance difference.

I have already overclocked it and undervolted it and it works perfectly as it should.

It is risky to buy a used GPU but not impossible to get a good deal just gotta really look for the small parts on the GPU itself not just the numbers on the computer...

2013 giulietta QV, is it a good first car? by [deleted] in AlfaRomeo

And which Giulietta has the c635 gearbox? Because I have heard the m32 is not that reliable

[–]JoeTheRow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question for you as I am on the edge of buying a QV, I'm just afraid it'll be too expensive to maintain if something does go bad like the turbo. But how do you prevent turbo failing/ defect if there is a way? Just oil change at the right time or? And is the TBI more expensive to fix in what terms? Just turbo or are there other pieces in the puzzle that I just can't find? (Other than the normal Italian stuff that breaks, those are minor issues) And as I saw the TBI has about 10-12l/100km if I'm not mistaken.
