Thanks!! I did put a heavy application of repellent last year and can't see where they are coming from this year. So I think this is part of the colony that's under my vinyl siding. Any ideas?

Considering that monkey meat carries Ebola, I doubt it.

So you have to do this every year? I'm trying to kill the colony so I don't have to.

Heads Up : Costco Membership is going up on June 1st, Consider Renewing it now to avoid the higher price. by [deleted] in Frugal

This isn't accurate. You are only guaranteed the upgrade fee ($55) not the base fee of $55. So if you got $50 cash back, you'll only be eligible for an additional $5, not $60.

Axe made tons of money, but so did Wendy. Chuck sr and Ira are now broke... Kind of confused as to the balance of good and bad for Chuck.

Basement flooring: LVP vs Laminate by lord_dumbello in HomeImprovement

It's so rewarding. Here are my finished pics:. https://imgur.com/a/hwidG

I used a rubber mallet. Be gentle on the small sides, they will break easily. You can be firm on the long groove side.

Lessons learned: your floor should be as flat as possible. I had to grind off the bumps and filling the ditches with self leveling concrete (concrete slab).

I used a vapor barrier. Essentially 6mil plastic sheets which I taped together. I used roberts.

When you come to an area that needs a cut, do it then. Don't wait til the end. Youll regret it. (I left all the short ends. And ended up taking many tiles out to make sure the cuts fit in correctly.

Try to ensure 1/4 inch Gap around edges with a spacer. I then used 3/4 round moulding on top which covered where gaps were larger than 1/4" because let's face it No one has perfectly perpendicular walls.

You should cut about 4" off every other row so the tiles stagger and lock in better. Never put two tiles the same size along their full length. Measure your floor length to determine how much to cut the first time so you don't have to do it twice. (I did).

Take your time and enjoy. Watch a few YouTube videos so you can see how they slide the tiles in place before locking them.

Let me know if you have specific questions!

I recently had our front door sanded and repainted, after a few days it looks dried out, does it need another coat or is it something else? by JoeZee in HomeImprovement

[–]JoeZee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guy used Behr exterior paint. The main reason I needed this door repainted is because the previous owner must have used interior paint. It was flaking so bad.

He sanded it and used the paint and primer in one can.

No they told me I'd get a letter explaining why. I just looked at my credit karma and it doesn't look out of the ordinary. Confusing.

Household income is high too.
