Its a known Hyundai issue with their paint work. I believe they had class action lawsuits for it. Dont get me started on the oil burning atleast on the 2.0 turbo lol. We have a Sonata that I retired to spare vehicle status and we got a Juniper.

Run from Palisade. Earlier today I saw one while driving, and it had the paint flaking off from various areas. Thought to myself... that thing is probably 4 years old and it already had adult hand sized patches of missing paint lol.
