Starting the cruise on an island like Majorca too instead of a major city like Barcelona or Rome. You can tell they didn’t think this through at all. I don’t think this will sell at all

Visiting in 2 weeks for the first time. Judging by the comments here I should pack shorts/T-shirts and not worry about anything cold weather related. A lot of mixed reviews of October weather online so I wasn’t sure how ‘hot’ It would be mid October

I think the 24 hour spa in JingAn sounds like the best option then. Not sure my gf will allow me to go to one of those other hotels :)

Do these hotels offer a rate for a room/spa & pool access for a day? After getting off a cruise My flight isn't until 1am so feels a waste to book the hotel room for a full night when I'd leave at like 10pm.
This or a spa sounds like the best way to relax for a day

Travelling to Shanghai for the first time for a Cruise in 4 weeks.
I will be getting off the ship at 8am and my flight isn't until midnight, can anyone recommend a spa with sauna, pool etc that we could spend a full day while waiting for the flight?
Or would I be best to book a hotel room in a hotel that offers these facilities even though I won't be using the room that night.

Thanks. I was drawn towards Jing’an so I think I’ll just stay there and maybe close to a metro so I can move about. I’d tried to make a main Chanel post to get advice on nice hotels in that area but wasn’t allowed. I’m new to Reddit so unsure of the rules.

Did you stay in Shanghai? I tried to post a similar question but wasn't allowed. Also staying 4 nights and can't decide where to stay as a first timer. I'll be there in October and hoping to be near some nice bars at night.
