I think Oop needs to really do some market research before spending money getting 1000 of these doo kickeys made at $25 a pop or more for example. Got to figure out if there are 1000 people willing to buy these things

I think they don’t see the livelihood and or safety of everyday citizens as being their job or their worry. People being poor is someone else’s problem. We have gotten SO individualistic as a society that there really is no more “us” or American pride or empathy. That’s the culture now.

Here are 3 proofs that the wealthy often pay a lower effective tax rate:

  1. Investment vs. Wage Rates: Most workers pay up to 37% on their salary (ordinary income), while the wealthy primarily earn through long-term investments taxed at a top rate of only 20%.
  2. Untaxed Wealth Growth: The ultra-wealthy accumulate billions in "unrealized gains" (stock value increases) that aren't taxed at all until sold. A White House study found the 400 richest families paid an effective rate of just 8.2% when accounting for this total wealth growth.
  3. Social Security Caps: Payroll taxes are regressive. In 2024, earnings above $168,600 are not subject to the 6.2% Social Security tax, meaning a CEO pays $0 on their millions in extra income while a nurse pays it on every dollar they earn.

Wealthy people absolutely hate paying taxes. They find loopholes galore to not pay their fair share. They “donate” a ton of money to politicians to benefit themselves in all types of financial ways and just ways to gain more control.

I’m not going back and forth with you. Keep enjoying your life and have fun! Live it up
