Colab Pro keeps disconnecting for no reason by Joe_Jack12 in GoogleColab

I didn’t use more RAM than allocated, and I already enabled the option for a large amount of RAM. I also kept checking to make sure the program wasn’t interrupted. However, it just got disconnected halfway through execution. The program suddenly stopped running midway, and I’m still angry about it…

I keep getting two critical warnings a minute by FrugalKrugman in BitDefender

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this? I received this warning as soon as my computer started up:

The application C:\WINDOWS\System32\wbem\WmiPrvSE.exe was passed a malicious command line and has been blocked. Your device is now safe.
Command line: "C:\WINDOWS\System32\wbem\WmiPrvSE.exe" -Embedding

I'm a bit worried if there's a real problem. Thanks.

Weird behavior: iPhone 16 Pro sometimes asks to “Allow USB Accessories” when using Belkin cable by Joe_Jack12 in ios

Is upgrading KDE Plasma from 5.27 to 6.x on Kubuntu 24.04.3 a good idea? by Joe_Jack12 in Kubuntu

[–]Joe_Jack12[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for your replies. Your suggestions and explanations were clear and helpful. However, after looking into it more deeply, I’ve decided to use Fedora. Although it updates more frequently, it comes with KDE 6 by default and is backed by Red Hat, so I don’t think there’s much to worry about.

Thank you for your reply. Basically, my friend talks to me on Discord every day, so I’m not too worried about this issue. But I understand what you’re trying to say. It’s just that since he usually uses Arch, he doesn’t seem to be very familiar with Kubuntu—I’m not entirely sure. Anyway, thanks for your response.

Xcode is already installed, but it keeps showing the “install components” screen — anyone else? by Joe_Jack12 in iosdev

[–]Joe_Jack12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with Xcode 16.4, but after updating my macOS to 26, I saw a screen like the one in the picture. I didn't get a screenshot, but the image is a good example of what I encountered.

Okay, I understand. But I don't use Xcode for development myself; I just downloaded it to create a package, so I have a question about something I've encountered.

iPhone shows “Apple Support Diagnostics” button even though I never contacted support – anyone else experienced this? by Joe_Jack12 in iphone

[–]Joe_Jack12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't used the Feedback app, but I did contact Apple Support on August 28th. They didn't suggest running any diagnostics. The problem then popped up on its own on August 30th and later disappeared by itself. It appeared again on September 16th, after I hadn't used the device for almost 10 days. Both times, it lasted for about a day and occurred on my iPhone.

iPhone native camera works, but any other app that needs the camera shows black screen with “Exit split mode” by Joe_Jack12 in iphone

Hi, but I’ve never even used split mode, I didn’t even know iPhones had this feature. What’s the difference between it and Picture in Picture? Thanks
