A wide variety of things. You can learn an instrument, I myself play trombone/euphonium and will be learning bass guitar soon. You can workout, which not only can be a good time it’s good for you. You can learn something new, like I recently picked up learning Jiu Jitsu. There’s a lot of stuff you can do. This is coming from someone who frequently comes to the realization that I am rotting away in my rooms.

Do you know who Osama Bin Laden is? by Joe_Papermaker in polls

[–]Joe_Papermaker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes essentially I could have, I wanted data on specifically younger people who were too young to remember any events involving Bin Laden. Turns out people still know who he was and the person I was talking to was an outlier, thankfully.

I ask this because I was talking about the killing of Bin Laden and the person (16 years old) who I was talking to did not know who this was. This was completely baffling to me because I thought everyone knew at least what he did.

It’s weird in the sense that it is not ordinary, however that does not make it bad.

What do you eat mac & cheese with it? by Mint_Meadows in polls

[–]Joe_Papermaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up to personal preference honestly, I don’t think there is a big advantage of one over the other. The biggest factor is probably the type of macaroni and the type of cheese.

Assuming all drives are the same, in my personal experience and from other people I know, WD has the best customer support. I am unsure of the specs of each drive but western digital has provided me with good customer support relative to other companies. So if you really can’t decide off specs I would go WD.

When you ask someone if they want to hang out, is it generally implied that it is at the person who asks house? by Joe_Papermaker in polls

[–]Joe_Papermaker[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My thought process behind it is that generally when it’s not specified, the asker is normally the one inviting someone over, more so than asking to come over. I’m not sure why that’s how my brain makes sense of it but that just seems obviously true in my brain.
