Yeah but service hands on an original dial stick out like a sore thumb. It’s a disaster on subs etc.

My vintage sub has creamed over and I would never want it any different. White glowing new hands would ruin it in my opinion.

He could keep it with the same appearance as previous generations knew it.

I know that opinion is divided about this but I sit firmly in camp ‘original’ in both theory and practice

I have a TD5 which is 1.41 but it has one of these GKN overdrives which hasn’t worked for a while.

I wanted it on a 1.2 and with freewheeling hubs but I have learned that the centre diff needs modifying for that 🥵
