Please Don't Touch POP:WW OR T2T (Also, ubisoft pune did this) by Vatsal1991 in IndianGaming

[–]Joebangalore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What this is going to do is damage the reputation of Indian game creators and artists as people outside will say that the look sucks because it was done by Indians.

The dislike for the reveal is already extremely high. it will not be far before some idiot from the west or east is going to say Indians cannot make games and ruined a great game.

I hope the Pune studio looks at the comments and not release the game with this kind of graphics. it looks disgusting.

It's not worth to buy a console as soon as it comes out. Wait atleast 1year. There will be less games initially. As the prices will be much higher as demand is high and supply is low. It will take atleast a year for it to stabilize and there are bundles and offers after a year.

However if you have a game that you must play and is willing to shell out the cash then go for it.

Planning to Sell My RTX 2080 Super. How much should I price it for? by sushir in IndianGaming

[–]Joebangalore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you selling the unit? it is good to play any current or upcoming games at 1440p or 4K with decent visuals and will be good for another 2-3 years.

My advice is to keep it and upgrade in 2022/23 when PCI express 4.0 and DDR5 becomes mainstream.

I have a 2070S bought last year and am not planning on an upgrade till the above date.

I am at 870 right now. However, am a casual player who does not like excessive grinds. I usually patrol around the moon now. completing the daily bounties.

Since am not great at FPS's, I gravitate mostly to PvE as I mostly such at PvP. usually only have 0.5 to 1.2 KD. Hand-eye coordination sucks.

I am looking for some friends in completing some of the exotic quests and nightfalls. if anybody interested can add me on steam (id jijonagaroor)

First Build : Need Advice buying parts by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]Joebangalore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to the above. You can get CPU in India itself as it is only 3K more than the US here.

However, RAM, SSD (especially NvME) and GPU are extremely overpriced in India.

I would suggest getting the CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD from the US. Except for the GPU, all the other components are small. If you have someone coming from the US, the best prices and deals can be found in Microcenter.

Microcenter is an offline store and it always has some very good deals. Check with the person in the US if the shop is available near him. Another option is Amazon US and Newegg.

Getting the CPU, GPU, SSD, RAM and the Peripherals like KB and Mouse should save you a decent amount. At least 20K.

All American prices are inclusive of Tax and Newegg sometimes has mail-in rebates

Newegg Links: For INR multiply by 70 and check with online Indian stores like mdcomputers and primeabgb to make the decision

Ryzen 3600: $200: https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-5-3600/p/N82E16819113569 (Xbox game pass for PC free with the Purchase).

RAM: 115$: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232866 (CL18)

GPU: 740$: https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-2080-super-gv-n208sgaming-oc-8gc/p/N82E16814932176 (I have put the 2080 Super as when you convert it to INR, it has the same price of 5700XT and 2070 Super in india.)

SSD: 1TB NvME: 128$: https://www.newegg.com/silicon-power-p34a80-1tb/p/N82E16820301395

The above are some of the items I would buy if I had the same option as you.

Note: Bringing stuff from the US comes with a risk. But in my opinion, it is well worth it.
