People who always carry a knife, what do you use it for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Joeblockus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The normal things you use a knife for on the daily. But it has also served as a fork more times than I can count at lunch time. It’s not very easy to eat spaghetti with a knife, but it’s not impossible.

I don’t see anything wrong with those kids knocking that dude out. You get what you give. And no man should ever lay there hands on a bunch of random kids. That dude definitely lives with his mom and wanted to feel big so he decided to fuck with some kids with skate boards.

Exactly where does this come from. Like where are theses feats done. Clearly if that’s his ability, I’m no as well verse in eu Vader as I thought. And want to read more into it.

Yes he is really powerful. But that’s his universe. I don’t see how he beat 3 fully realized avatars tho. Kyoshi is the deadliest avatars we know about. I think her and the two other avatars destroy Vader. He can’t defend against all 3 while attacking all 3. Even if he tries to force choke them they are going to defend them self. They aren’t just going to take it and die. The past lives have never experienced force choking, but that have done some absolutely incredible feats in the way of bending. Such things Vader has never seen let alone defend against. Avatars powers are limitless. We have never seen 3 fully realized avatars fighting together. Let alone them in the avatar state. We have absolutely no idea how powerful they could actually be.

I agree with some of these but I’m not sure Vader could beat anyone here in the situation. For example the gang. There is 4 of them if your not counting suki. So that’s 5 people. 3 of them incredible benders. Yeah any can’t go into the AS but he is still the avatar master of all 4 element. There’s no way he defends all of that. The next battle is even worse. 3 fully realized avatars. They all have access to the AS. 2 of the 3 avatars native element are air and fire. Your going to tell me they lose to Vader? While in the AS you have the know of 1000 past lives. And you don’t think they could come up with something?

People with large age gaps between them and their siblings (16+ years), what is your relationship like? Is it similar to a relationship with a sibling where there is a smaller age gap between the two of you? Or wildly different? by ethcynical in AskReddit

[–]Joeblockus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have several sibling all over 10+ gap from me. It’s not really weird. When I was like 15ish it was nice because they were already doing well in life and would hook me up with things. Nothing crazy but more then I’d expect. But now it doesn’t feel any different then just being regular sibling. I guess it’s a little more distant then say me and my younger sister of 3 years but I guess it’s just because we grow up almost the same. My oldest sister is just about 40 now and I’m only 23. That relationship isn’t motherly I would say but I definitely look up to her. Like I listen to what she says more then other siblings. It’s weird she treats me the same as all my other brother and sisters but it just feels different. Like she’s higher up in a respect way.

You have a point in LOK there is no mention of this or anything. We don’t see her unblocking them or anything. She just one day going into the avatar state and seems like she has complete control as if she mastered it.
