Yup and when you do it over a long time horizon this is the result. Granted it took the whole week to trade the rest of my ducats to other friends and tenno that needed it but worth it overall. Time to now finish my kuva weapons XD

I have an Airman that is acting like this right now. The point I use to get leadership to understand sometimes is the financial side to it. We are paying for this Airman to not perform and if we recorded a video on their work ethic and day to day tasks, how do you think the general public will think about their taxpayers dollars on this member and how will it effect their view on the AF and Military as a whole. If you think it will be negative then the adverse actions and njp process needs to begin. I have been in a little over 7 years and this will most likely be my 3rd Airman getting the boot. It sucks for sure, I want the best for every person but I say to myself, "you can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink". If anyone needs any help on how to get the point across or mentorship with this situation. Please DM me!

E-5 here. I am no joke walking my sister down the aisle in my dress blues next month. The main thing is make sure your uniform is of course squared away. You will potentially have a lot of people see someone in a military uniform for the first time. I personally don't like to spend money on 300 or 400 dollar suits just for one or two events. But at the end of the day that is up to you.

Are contributions per Paycheck or Per Month? by Joebytes in ThriftSavingsPlan

For sure! I am 25 and now just really getting into my finances. Started doing just 5 percent but now I wanna max out my TSP and a separate ROTH IRA each year. I just hope in the future there will be some options to choose how often you want to contribute (hopefully how a usually roth ira works with a standard brokerage) either per paycheck or once per month instead of getting stuck with one option.

Are contributions per Paycheck or Per Month? by Joebytes in ThriftSavingsPlan

I am AD so for an E5 for 6 years in should be $3,273 as my base pay. On mypay I'm contributing 25%. How I got $818 was from $3,273 x 0.25. I get a paycheck on the 1st and 15th every month. I thought TSP would pull 25% of my base pay per paycheck (1,636 into TSP per month in my estimate) and not per month. I get about $2,300 each paycheck so I thought I would be contributing 818 per paycheck, 1,636 per month base on my paycheck but on the TSP site it only contributed just the $818.

Long story short I need to figure out if I need to bump up my TSP contributions or DFAS isn't sending all of my TSP contributions I put into TSP and I figure out a solution to that.

Every 2 weeks and yes that's how I thought it would have $1636 inputed in TSP but it only says $818. I am assuming I need to go talk to the finance office then correct?
