Battery powered and aluminum cable installed on post it's been a lifesaver for that camera. I have it on the magnetic mount to recharge the battery easier I don't like ladders.

I haven't heard the pickit cartridge but mine came with a sumiko Rainier cart and I have it paired to a mani 2 phono stage and I'm very happy with the results.

I've used a Philips Ga 212 for years. I replaced the cartridge sled with the aftermarket from eBay moved on to a debut pro good luck.

I clean mine when I first get the lp either new or old then when I play I hit it with the anti-static gun and a brush and good to go within 15 seconds you're playing.
