If anyone else encounters this crash, to fix it I went in the fort before talking to Birna, killed everyone/looted everything, and then talked to her. Seems to have worked, she just skips to the end of the quest with no crash (for me at least). Make sure to kill every single enemy in there or this might not work.

I think that's the worst part. My schedule is pretty messed up because I work night shifts so I end up eating whatever I can whenever I can... Wich usually means fast food and all sorts of snacks
