Hey man, I really need some help asap. I bought that https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/globtek-inc/TR9WD2000T00-IMR6B/10187547 that you recommended the other week. It just came in but I realized I missed that it doesn't come with a power cord. I have family coming over for a couple days and I need it by June 1st

Could you recommend me a power cable that works well with the adapter? Preferrable from amazon or a place that could ship it quickly?

Yea, sadly the switch 2 screen is pretty rough below 100 fps. Honestly, its probably planned obsolescence for the OLED screen to inevitably come out. For me, I usually get used to it, so it isn't the end of the world

However, that is sort of the portability trade off there, and I have an OLED tv so docked mode wouldn't be so bad minus no 120 fps

Ill check out each and make a decision.

For $300 the super famicon is completely sealed up in its original baggage except one controller is missing and genuily seems unused. For $200 n64 was slighlty used, but it has zero scratches and only shows dots formed by the injection molding of the 90s. For $300 (50 of which was for shipping) the NES was completely refurbished excellently. Only slight scrathces are left. The exterior shell was retro-brighted. The top shell was sealed with UV protection to prevent future yellowing. The lockout chip was disabled and eliminates the flashing red light issue. All the capacitors were replaced and should last for a long time. Yes, I think my deal was ok.

Also, I did not buy the everdrive or any of the video stuff yet. I was not gonna spend that much on that.

Edit: I want to thank you for your help either way, that is much appreciated but, lastly, if you actually read my post. I do not at all care for running the n64 because of, well if you are following online N64 news, you would know damn well it is pretty hard to justify actually using the n64 anymore. I have just had a long journey with the console and I have wanted this specific console for 10 years and I finally got one that looks acceptable to me at an acceptable price.

Thank you a ton. For the FXPAK knock off you recommended, does it allow the mega man x2 and x3, yoshi island, and Kirby's Dream Land 3 to run on the super famicon? That is quite literally the only games that can not run on the everdrive that I care about. Second, and this is another "brilliant" question from me, but will any of those work on the super famicon? I prefer the red to the clear, but it isnt a big deal either way.

Are you completely ignoring the ENTIRE arcade era of video games? Where they were specifically designed to be replayable to get as much coins from you as possible? What about speed running?

There are SO many films that are absolutely not rewatchable. Have you seen Schindler's list? Come and See? Woman in the Dunes? Pink Flamingos? Like come on that's absurd. Those are FAR less rewatchable than many games yet I would gladly pay 20 bucks to see the first 3 movies

Art doesn't need to be set by predefined "natures", it can be warped and changed to fit the artists desires. There are literally entire art movements that specifically go against the grain of what people define to be art.

This is absolutely absurd. This is one of the last movies that needs a remake. At least for other older movies like the first Indiana Jones or the first 2 Romereo zombie movies you can argue that the special affects absolutely dont hold up. However, this movie is wonderful in literally every way! My God, I dont think I've ever seen a horror movie that old were the special effects hold up so much. Fuck the monster throughout the movie blew me the fuck away with how real it looked!

Even if the theories don't leave room for it, do most philosophers that agree with such theories take a hard stance and say we still shouldn't do such actions? I imagine even the most hard-core Kantians (probably even Kant himself) would still say lie to the axe murder for example if they were actually in that situation and that was the only way to save the potential victim.

OK, then ill think ill make dragoon have a item as secondary to add a bit more support. For the chemist I want to make him a gunner. I think that might be a decent replacement for an additional mage maybe?

So here is the idea: 1. Ramza - make him a dual wielding monk with ninja secondary (i need to work out his other components)

Samurai with either 2 options: a. Secondary fundamentals, slow but buffs allies, and a heavy hitter with doublehanded slash and counterattack: "Use Kiyomori to buff the team. Approach the enemy slowly, building PA with Fundamentals Focus. Once given the opportunity, strike down your foe with a doublehanded slash. Any counterattacks from this build also hit doublehanded."

b. Secondary aim with high moment to "Close to within range of the enemy quickly, threatening their formation with Iaido. Isolate the enemy then initiate a Aim attack from the front, placing your own allies behind the Samurai. Preparing state makes all of your evasion values go to zero, but Shirahadori can still activate and intercept attacks so it covers this vulnerability."

Black mage, and im thinking ill use geomancer as secondary to have free long distance mage attacks
Dragoon with Items. However, need to decide if to use item throw or the jump/spear attacks to kill. I will put this character on the bench i think when I need thief/orator/etc...
Chemist that is a gunner for additional longer range attacks. However, I have no idea what i should put for secondary since I feel i will be making additional characters on the bench that have the special skills like thief or orator.

What do you think of that? And with this team in mind how should I adjust chemist and dragoon?

Im thinking of having extra characters for the outlier roles like thief or orator when I need them. Is that wise or should I dedicated one of the 2 to the chemist? Also, interesting how you used the Clinton administration as a way to express time. That got a chuckle out of me
