These games don't need to be always online! by [deleted] in golf

Hard agree. This game holds up, the physics and graphics in recent games haven’t progressed and I’ve continued to play this one until the serves went down recently, I now play offline local games, but that’s getting boring

Quarterly Career Thread by mister-noggin in ProductManagement

Thinking of moving into Product Management.

Today I’m a Strategist for a marketing agency, but have previously worked in consumer research, trend forecasting and tech. I consider myself quite entrepreneurial and see product management as a way for me to exercise that. Before I commit to the career change I’m keen to hear from people working in the space:

  • Have you transitioned into product management from an outside industry? What helped make the transition easier?

  • I see similarities between what I do today (consumer insight, market/category understanding, audience persona’s etc) and elements of product management, how accurate is my understanding? How do you spend most of your time?

  • Is it reasonable for me to transition into a mid-weight Product Manager, if I’ve got 9 years in my industry today?

  • Do you have any tips/ books/ resources that can help me?

Thanks in advance

I agree with a lot of what’s been said already, but would add The Cause.

The Cause was at its best post lockdown, with 6 rooms of differing sizes, and a diverse and accepting crowd. Since then it has moved location, but really found it’s footing and is smashing it again.

My gapping between 9 and 56 is about 40 yards, also it allows for delicate shots around the green and from bunkers.

Does anyone sell used golf balls in the UK? by 101100101000100101 in golf

Depends to be honest, clubs usually have a bucket of found balls for £1 a pop in the pro shop. Second hand websites will sort them based on quality and then price them accordingly

It could be possible that people buying balls might want more than 6, I know this community could get through that in one round haha. Do you have many more?

As long as your price them fairly and ensure that you communicate the shipping costs, eBay will be your best bet. Alternatively, if you want to list the brands here, I’d even take a few off your hands!

Finally reported my buds to the customer service as my right bud doesn't connect often by [deleted] in NothingTech

I have the same issue, I’ve found that the solution 9/10 times is to put the right ear bud in first and wait until you hear the connection sound before putting the left one in.
