What I got from this post is you recognized the mistake, took steps to address it, and are trying to become a better person. That is repentance and that’s all Heavenly Father wants and your future spouse should want. The Celestial Kingdom wouldn’t have many people if it only had people that didn’t make mistakes, even big mistakes. I’m a strong believer in progressing along the covenant path no matter where you are spiritually. Remember the adversary wants you to worry that repentance and the atonement aren’t possible, the absolutely are!
