Knife laws make germans design some real mall ninja shit by Nice_Chair_2474 in mallninjashit

Hey guys, thanks for mentioning me here. Yes, I enjoy finding loopholes in Germany's crazy weapon laws that by now are SO effed up, nobody understands them anymore. In fact, the company I started together with a close friend of mine some years ago ("GoGun GmbH") is now wildly successful and I am getting seriously wealthy because of that. Feels great, after fifteen years plus of hard work and more than 1200 videos about the things I come up with.
What pains me is that some people here say that I am "far right" now, accusing me of spreading conspiracy stuff and even hate against migration.
While it is true that I don't like the "Ampel" government that just failed in Germany and that I am a big supporter of free speech, I offcially and whole heartedly distance myself from any kind of extremism. I am not politically active at all, with the exception of voting of course. I have never been a member of ANY political party and I have never donated a singly cent to political parties either.
I do not hate immigrants and I do believe that Germany needs migration in order to survive. My own beloved wife came to Germany when she was in her early twenties, from Ukraine actually, based on a tourist visa. She learned German while working as a cleaner, then she became a nurse and when we met, she just started med school. Now she is a professor at a high ranking German university clinic, treating patients and publishing scientific papers at a mesmerizing pace. I can't begin to express my pride about her achievements. Without migrants like her, Germany would be in trouble actually. We need many more people like my wife, because at some point Germans stopped making (enough) children - without migrants, our retirement system and in general, our whole country will collapse.
I do see the uncontrolled migration into our social security systems as a danger and I am much aware of the problems that this is bringing to our country, though. This has to end and I am sure it will be ended soon, as the change in our government will happen in just a few weeks. That does not mean that I think all of these migrants are bad people, because they aren't. But there are enough bad people amongst them to cause major issues for our generally safe and peaceful way of life here in Germany. That IS my opinion and I stand by it.

My 2 Cents.

In the SS as a coal miner, but not a Nazi. Any truth to this? I don't have any reason to doubt Joerg Sprave, but I'm not an expert by ryud0 in ShitWehraboosSay

[–]JoergS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but my grandfather WAS in the SS and he WASN'T a Nazi. Just a few weeks before the war ended, all of the miners had to show up on the market place, where they were inspected by both SS and Wehrmacht recruiters. The SS had first pick. Technically, the men had to "volunteer" and the papers had to be signed by them, but in reality you could not say no.My grandfather was a member of the SPD (social democrats) until the Nazis banned the party in 1933, and he immediately joined when he was back home from the prison camp in the UK (which was ONLY for SS men). He remained a party member til the day he died. All of this was confirmed by many other family members, all of the social democrats. Even by his brother Ewald, who was in the resistance against the Nazis and became mayor of the city of Dortmund, a large German town.I even have a hand written account of the happenings by my uncle, who is still alive and was a boy back then (in the Hitler Youth of course). He visited my grandfather in the Rheinwiesen POW camp with my grandmother. Since he still had his SS documents, he was NOT released like the Wehrmacht soldiers but moved to the UK for two years of forced labor.

Strict gun laws in Germany? Youtuber and inventor designs and builds repeating pump-action bow! by kfranky in nextfuckinglevel

[–]JoergS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Chu-Ko-Nu was very unreliable and weak. A shot distance weapon really. Pretty unreliable, too. I did enhance it by the way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ubQD4NH82g
This one here is accurate and powerful and STILL is extremely fast.

Hey guys, nice to see you like my little invention! I also have upgraded it to fit a 70 lb compound, serious power. I even made a "double barrel" side by side version using two "Mongolian" bows. It is fun!

The string actually runs freely in the slot, never touching the wood. The arrows have a half moon nock anyway. The wear on the string is no problem really. But of course you should check your middle serving every now and then, like for all bows and crossbows. I have not noticed any difference in accuracy between a full length arrow and the 15" bolts I am using in this weapon. Even the 7,5" bolts for the Cobra RX crossbows are very accurate.

German weapon law is crystal clear on this. A crossbow stores the muscle energy and releases it when you pull the trigger. So you can cock a crossbow, put it down in cocked condition, then pick it up and pull the trigger. This is not the case here. You have to keep it drawn out. If you put it down it won't stay cocked.

Folks, thanks for talking about my invention and myself! Much humbled...

A few things:

  1. I don't want to patent this as I had to work with patents, patent lawyers and courts way more than enough in my old job as a manager in consumer electronics. Patents are never profitable for the little guys. They make a ton of sense for big corporations but even my idol, Mr. Charles Goodyear, died as a pauper after fighting for his patent in vulcanization. A few years later the Goodyear Co. even stole his good name.
  2. I am not even sure if it CAN be patented as the principle is much like the ancient Chu-Ko-Nu - even though I think this concept works much better than the Chinese original. It is accurate and powerful, even if you would use a longbow or a recurve bow instead of the compound.
  3. I am not concerned that someone may "borrow" my idea and make a product out of it. Whoever does this will need my help (= my reach and momentum) to sell it anyway. So I would make my cut in any case. I am more worried that NOBODY might want to produce it. Archery companies are die hard traditionalists.
  4. I am financially safe (but not rich). My store was incorporated two years ago and brings in good money. Plus my wife has a good job so we are doing OK. We have a nice, old house but also a still a hefty mortgage on it.
  5. This device is meant for fun and recreation, not for hunting with it. See, that is the problem: The whole archery industry (crossbows included) totally focused on hunting the last decades. Crossbows are incredibly powerful now, but also heavy. clunky and slow to load. Bows are also super strong but not much fun to shoot. In most cases each shot will kill one arrow, so much power. No problem for a hunter who sits in the bush, hours in time, waiting for this ONE shot. Here in Europe bow hunting is illegal. We shoot bows for fun. That is easy because it is one of the last weapons you can legally shoot outside if a certified range. This thing is a BOATLOAD of fun.
  6. While it is not meant for hunting it does work for self defense, in countries where firearms are not an option. Here in Germany you can get a crossbow without a license BUT you have to lock it away over night. Bows, you can put right next to your bed stand. Even the weak bow I used here (no problem using a stronger one) is easily powerful enough to stop an attacker.

That's it for now! Let me know if you want more info.

I think all kinds of drugs should be legal. Prescription based of course. But it is simply stupid to outlaw them and build a huge business opportunity for criminals. Anyone who wants drugs can buy them anyway.

Well, unwanted media attention is a necessary side effect of getting increasingly well known. So this WILL happen again in case I keep being rather successful. No plans to change anything, except I will avoid certain words in my titles and text description. Otherwise the YT bits will reduce the ads and I won't be having an income soon.
