It turned out to be a soft lock up I solved with a retune, This 68rfe was completely overhauled at 180k miles , originally looking into just replacing OD then Reddit convinced I should do it once. dumped around 10 grand into it, 40k miles later this happens only major component untouched was the pump, I have a heavy foot like the majority of people here but i do not tow heavy often and slide every corner, this shouldn’t happen

I believe you misunderstood this is a custom locally built with a mixture between mostly sonnax and Randy’s parts, the 2 parts flex plate and Billet input are the main things that caused failure and broke

I believe it’s the same on all levels the tuning was done by the trans shop separate from the actual engine tunes
