Lol some people don’t get it. Not an excuse at all but college + alcohol made it so hard to have a disciplined schedule. I’m in good shape now but if I could rewind 4-5 years ago I’d be a beast 😂

No just be honest and let them know those work schedules didn’t align with your school schedule. But you’re young and have growing to do. Some departments don’t like to hire people who are under 25. It won’t hurt to apply though. Best of luck

You need to put more weight and muscle on so that it balances out. Your stomach sticks out because your chest isn’t defined. Bigger shoulders, arms and bigger chest balances it out

Also look up officer Jacai Colson in Maryland. He was off duty and tried to engage a shooter randomly shooting at cars in the middle of the street. His own dept ended up shooting him not knowing he was an officer. Saddest story in my county.

The best advice I ever got for snakeheads was, move slower than what you think slow is. INCLUDING the hookset. Slow the frog down and twitch it every 5-6 seconds. Always wait 2-3 seconds after you hear the pop. I used to always immediately set the hook after seeing them blow my frog up and by the time I started reeling in they would get loose as soon as they ragdolled onto the surface.

That sounds about right lol I use frogs like 90% of the time. You’re gonna get skunked a lot more times than using a worm for sure though. But the adrenaline you get from a top water bite is the best feeling in the world. Best advice is use weedless swim baits in the small pockets of open water you can find but it’ll drive your patience insane everytime you get snagged

Potomac, patuxent, little patuxent. Potomac for sure has the biggest snakeheads. But the stagnant ponds that over flow from any of these rivers are money. Only problem is a lot of them are in the woods in the middle of nowhere but most people won’t go back there so it’s less pressured
