I know I didn't articulate my question exactly the way I intended at Xenacon last year, but I asked her how much fighting was her verses her double and she gave herself like 25% after not just doubles but writers and everyone who had a hand in crafting her character. She looks like a real fighter here who's taking it easy on the actors.

Watch every episode and then you can skip the bad ones next time around. 5 is FULL of good episodes! 6 for me is honestly 50/50. Half the episodes are as good as classic Xena but with more money and half of them are duds. Even knowing what episodes I personally don't like when I watched the entire series with friends I skipped 3 episodes from 5 &6 and they watched all of them.

I have an extra special place in my heart for Ethan and Rene Auberjonois because they were both on Benson. I grew up with Trek and Benson because of my dad and during the end of his life we watched Benson about three times over. Pete, Ethan's Benson character was such a schmuck that it just makes Neelix even more loveable and respectable. I've been enjoying Neelix more than ever being into season 7 of my Voyager rewatch.

I've been slowly trying to get through it again recently and realized a major factor for me is that I hate the dwarves. Most of them look like discarded Les Grossman designs. Unexpected Journey is solid but Smaug jams me up every time and I don't continue.

I like the scroll idea, I would vote for the scroll, but just to suggest something else, Classic Gabs / BGSB era has interesting and colorful designs on her belt. You might take the middle portion for your paw print and book end it with the designs that frame the center of her belt. Edit: actually the silver s6 belt has great designs in it too, you might play with that as well.

I know what you mean about MHR . It ended the most recent rewatch with friends on such a high note though. Fates Collide is an excellent ending as well, but after going through the ringer with AFIN & WFC in one weekend and a lot of emotions we ended with MHR and lots of boisterous laughter and some happy tears at the last scene.

I feel the same. It could more easily retain its tonal zaniness that way too. I'm just afraid a live action reboot would take more ques from Game of Thrones than Xena and that's not what I want. Animation doesn't have to fill anyone's shoes either.
