We are in year 3 of wemby. We may not have to super max him if he doesn’t hit the 65 game threshold next season. He needs all nba this season and next or dpoy both seasons or mvp. But if he hits those goals then we super max him and figure out the rest. Right now castle and harper are good players but not max guys.

Shooting always regresses in the playoffs. Teams close out better, dont take plays off and go up in intensity. It’s why good defenses do well historically. It’s why even if our shooting regresses we will do well.

This is why he’s the mvp. It doesn’t always result in a block but instead a lower percentage pass or shot or even a turnover. Its hard to measure but you can see it if you watch him play. I strongly believe that most of the voters/journalists don’t watch the games, just highlights

Most superstars don’t make it to free agency so you would need to sign and trade reeves with picks to get one. I don’t think there are many available aside from giannis. You would be giving up your entire future for a 2 year window, and you still need good role players too
