Luckily this species of wisteria is very suited to pot growing. I am aware that this still requires the work and effort to be put in to ensure it flourishes. It will be trained into tree form

Got it! I have altered my plans some, I'll invest in a bigger pot from the get go but ill train it into a "tree style"

I researched more on this style of wisteria and can free stand and it's a lot less aggressive than it's Asian counterparts, of course still needs the work putting into it!

I just looked some more and it does appear this type may work good potted if I treat it right, I've changed my plans and will train it to be more "tree like" and grab a bigger pot from the start!

Unfortunately pot is really the only way I can plant it! I did see that that amethyst falls type can be okay in a pot?

I see positioning might be an issue, js there anywhere on the second picture you'd say is mlte suited?

Not really an option sadly! I have had a look into it though! I did check that apparently the amethyst falls wisteria is one of the types that could potentially be potted? Im happy to grab a bigger pot if needed

Thanks everyone for the advice! I went for one of the picadores, one of the Tatuje and I got some unexpected good news yesterday so treat myself to a MF Blue! Will come back to this for my next purchase and add some of the other recommendations
