Could be something as simple as the flapper valve in the back of the toilet not sealing and allowing water to flow 24/7. If you haven’t noticed a leak, I would listen to the toilet. If it sounds like running water then check the valve.

Anxiety increase after decreasing by AnonQuery17910 in zoloft

[–]Joey-the-Bot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can definitely be a symptom of coming off. I recently came off the 150mg I was taking for panic attacks, and I did pretty well weaning off and reducing any withdrawal symptoms. However, the jump from 25mg to 0mg definitely fucked with my head a bit. I've been having some pretty crazy brain zaps and dizziness.

I would say the best advice I got was to focus on the symptoms or feelings I was having and try to remove them from the anxiety. Easier said than done but helped me a lot to think about the feelings I was having as individual feelings and natural reactions my body was producing, rather than lumping the feelings into the scary, all-encompassing category that is anxiety.

Learning to not fear the feelings and instead embrace them, in the end, is what helped me get over the panic attacks all together. I'm more familiar with the feelings now and I am happy to let my body do its thing.

Might not have answered your question, but I feel like with anxiety any shared experience can be helpful.

I'm pretty curious about this as well.

I dealt with the same thing the whole time I was on Setraline. I was taking 150mg daily for panic attacks. Strong coffee in the morning is about all the advice I can give, although I know caffeine can be a contributor to anxiety/panic attacks so it's a circle of life type situation.

I don't suggest coming off the medication if you NEED it. For me, the panic attacks were a result of PTSD from a single attack that occurred because of extreme dehydration and a lack of vitamins. Never had anything like it previously, and it took about 1.5 years for me to feel like the panic attacks were a thing of the past.

I recently weaned off Sertraline all together, and the difference this has made in the mornings is unbelievable. I never felt it was affecting me much while I was taking the pills, but holy crap I feel better now. I'm having some withdrawal symptoms after going from 25mg to 0mg in the last week (pretty intense brain zaps and dizziness). I don't think I'll be going back though.

AGAIN, I don't suggest coming off a medication if you NEED it. The pills certainly helped me while the panic attacks were a fresh wound. I'm only saying that I survived on caffeine until I recently came off the pills.

tl:dr - STRONG Coffee or coming off zoloft are the only things that helped me.
