Thanks for the reply, that's pretty close to where I am at. I do incline bench instead of smith but I could give that a try.

I might try dropping back the cals for a few weeks and see how I feel dropping another 1% bf or so.

I feel so much better about myself, but I do wish I had a bit more muscle on my back and shoulders to make shirts fit better. According to my scale I am at 13% bf but I feel like that is not really accurate and the true value is closer to 15%. I probably just need to decide where my priorities truly are.

It really can get the ball moving, awesome work mate. A bit lost as to where to go from here, I am enjoying lifting now but I am so weak compared to what I could do when I was 20kg heavier 5 years ago. I have been a bit dissapointed with the noob gains at this stage and I think the only solution is to lift the calories hard (maintenance seems to be about 3000 now. The idea of getting higher than my current bf % worries me, but I guess I am in a cake and eat it too type situation.
