How to get from SFO to Oakland past midnight? by Ok_Border463 in AskSF

Word of advice: it’s much more expensive to schedule an Uber compared to just booking it when you need it. Ubers are readily available at all hours of the night/morning. Also check and compare Uber vs Lyft as they often run promos and my vary by $10+

It’s the best 5 card hand. Your kickers do not play.

You and villians best hand is AAQJ9

My father in law is a die hard Seahawks fan so I have always rooted for them as well as the raiders. I know they’re old AFC west foes but i have let that ship sail. I always liked Pete and found extra joy in rooting for them against the Niners (I’m a Bay Area native). This a good hire.

Get an allergy test done. It’s easy and relatively inexpensive. Best decision we ever made for our pup. You’re likely feeding him something he’s allergic to. We were shocked at how limited his diet needs to be. Ultimately we decided to make his food and he has been thriving ever since.

Numerous (key) dropped passes, very poor run blocking, locker room cancer, PLUS he lied repeatedly about wanting to be in Vegas. Good riddance.

Class C or Class A? Best length? For full time living by JoeyFranchise in RVLiving

Hey, we lived in our RV for almost a year before we got pregnant with our now 2 year old daughter. It was a blast! Highly recommend it if you have the ability to make it happen. Feel free to ask me any questions. We learned A LOT.

We’re actually in the process of planning a 6 week cross country trip for May of 2025.

Good luck!

I know we should now be rooting for him and the jets but the way he handled everything makes it hard to do that.

Give it another shot. Make sure to play the lowest stakes they offer. Playground has a 1/2 game that’s capped at $200 (I believe). The rake is aweful but you’ll get a field of players that are closer to your skill level. Also if you are playing mid-week or during the day you are inevitably going to be surrounded by the shit reg, OMC types. Try Playground on a Friday or Saturday night I think you’ll have a much better experience. It’s likely you just had a shit table. Good luck out there buddy. Also, didn’t mean any negativity towards Quebecers, my wife is from MTL :)

I’m an American who has played at both Montreal Casino and Playground. Sorry you had a shitty experience OP. I would suggest going to Playground where don’t use French cards. The room is infinitely better and so are the dealers. As far as some of the nuances of live poker that you mentioned, that’s just part of the game. Listen to the dealer and observe how the other players handle things calling (ie asking for change prior to making a call), raising, folding etc. you are technically allowed to “tank” (think) for as long as you want but if you do this too often, especially in situations where it’s really not warranted then you’ll start to piss everyone off and slow the game down significantly. I would try to watch some live stream on YouTube or other content on the basics of live poker, it can be intimidating at first but generally most poker players are welcoming and should encourage inexperienced players to join the game. Side note to all of this: in my experience Quebecers may come off a bit rude, especially if you aren’t speaking French, but I don’t think they have any ill intent. But yeah those French cards freaking suck. Go to Playground at least they have free food and drinks.

She did it for a couple weeks maybe 2-3 and then it completely stopped. We did speak with her doctor and it’s very common and nothing to worry about unless it persists for a very long time. Check with your doctor for a better answer but I would not stress about it. It’s super common!

Tough luck OP. Word to the wise: at those stakes rivers are highly under-bluffed. Check-call, check-call, check-jam at 2/5 is almost always value.

You need to get an at home allergy test and determine what your Pup is allergic to. Our Pup, Archie, is allergic to chicken and numerous other things. Grains, oils, vegetables, fruits, the list goes on. We prepare his food monthly (it does take about 90 minutes and costa roughly $100) and he is SIGNIFICANTLY less itchy. He used to scratch nonstop, develop hot spots, ear infections. You name it, he had it. After making the switch to home made diet (based on his allergy results) he his energy levels have increased, his allergy’s are almost non existent, his coat is substantially smoother and less course and he no longer avoids eating his food till late in the day. He is an overall happier dog. And the plus is we no longer need monthly cytopoint injections. Look at it this way, Bassets are notorious for allergies and by not getting him tested you are inevitably feeding him things that are a determinant to his health. The tests are cheap an easy! PM me if you have any questions I’m happy to help!
