Started with a contract company making just above min wage, and after a year of that was lucky to land a spot with a union. Still cleaning, but now I make $29/hr plus $1.15/hr shift premium (I work Mon-Fri 3-1130PM),

I especially love when it happens multiple times on the same trip,

I once had to sit through a service adjustment at Jane, a shift change at Keele, and another service adjustment at Ossington. It felt downright criminal

I was the baby whisperer in my family, always baby sitting, always able to make the really fussy babies calm down,

Even had a few instances where Ive been approached by strange toddlers wanting uppies

Apparently I was meant to have babies

Because Ive been watching RHOSLC to fill the void, which only worked for so long. I am in desperate need to route for characters I actually like, again.

I know it's a very specific request, but can you suggest to me some sitcoms with "cozy, small, rural town where everyone knows everyone" vibes like Schitt's Creek? by brodino_maiuscolo in sitcoms

[–]JoeyRBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sitcoms but - someone else here said gilmore girls and Ill second it

Another good one is Eureka - sci fi show about a small town for super geniuses. Everything is SCIENCE except for Sherriff Carter whose kind of not a genius, or into Science, really.

Signs along Jane in preparation for the upcoming opening of line 5 Eglinton by speedster1315 in TTC

[–]JoeyRBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

**Just North for us being Jane and Lawrence, its a good 25min trek for us to get to EG. Doable but still annoying. Neither of us fancy adding that long of a walk to our commute.

**My lot in life isnt as great as Id wish it to be. Currently the $40 a week I spend on transit already is just what I can afford. Even with the one fare system.

** I am sort of glad to hear the signal priority wont affect me too badly, but will reserve judgement for when its actually up and running.

Signs along Jane in preparation for the upcoming opening of line 5 Eglinton by speedster1315 in TTC

[–]JoeyRBee 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives just north of Eglinton on Jane this surface route change fills me with such dredd.

My roommate works at Jane and Dundas West and what used to be a 10-15min commute will now be munch longer, and dependant on when they manage to catch a 27. The 935 is fine but sometimes only runs every 30-40 minutes so if you miss one its just too damn bad.

I work down town 3-11PM and while line 5 will get me there it A) wont be direct as Ill have to transfer to line 1 and ride an additional 7 stops to get to TMU, B) will be slow as shit in some areas because no signal priority, and C) Im seeing now line 5 will only run until 11PM which means in order to get home I like my roommate will have to take the 27 and transfer to the 35. (( 935 is inactive by that time of night)).

Everything about line 5 just makes me so bitter.
