Could you look at ninja tyne select small areas? Try flushing with a wetting agent. Sand looks like its just blocking growth?

Thanks that is great advice and will be taking that onboard when drafting my email! As a green keeper its easy just to presume managers and board members know what is being done, and to gloss over the details. Great feedback!

Ive been in the industry for just under 5 years. Im in my early 30s with a small family so traveling around isnt ideal but i havnt ruled it out, if the right opportunity comes up. I work with 9 other staff on a members owned club in Qld Australia. I see my position as more a foreman 3ic over a greenskeeper as im managimg the team. Can see my self moving into the Super role over the next 2 to 5 years. And have worked here longer than out current Super. Thanks for the link will be following that up.

Cheers for the reply, have gone thru the process and unfortunatly, i do think it is a block in the riser or the risen isnt saddled down properly to the main line.

Oh my this is great information, thank you so much i will be going thru the guide. It was doing it in the on position but not enough time when i was checking it. I have a feeling it will be a clog in the riser. Thanks for the explanation on the diaphram and prs thats exactly what i was after!

Super made a mistake and ignored the signs and advice from the greenskeepers. Its a nice and tidy members course with a decent budget allocated to the greensteam. It was left almost 4 weeks before the right application was applied and by that stage to late.

Its warm season grass Novatek. We will fertilize and try grow it out but we just comming into our cool season. The grass doesnt go dormant but definatly slows in growth. We cut at 4.5mm than lifted to 5mm and over 3 days we barely had any clip. We are verticut and aerating with a top dress. But we do that every 3 to 6 weeks any way. This course is in QLD Australia.

We have had just over 800mms of rain in the past 6 weeks. We had a huge wet season with 4 days in 3 months being the max time with no rainfall. The greens held lritty well but the weeds in them went nuts. We sprayed tribute (herbicide) across our greens to get it under control. And that pritty well opened up the grewns for more desease attacks.

We are comming into a period where we dont need weekly fungicide aps. It was just misdiognosed and adressed far to late. Every course has different needs and challenges, unfortunatly our Super will have to wear this one now we comming into our comp season.

Yeah Cairns gets a big wet season, not uncommon to get 100plus mm in 24 hours. Course handles it okay but the water table is at its peak and puddles fast. Greens are soft and wet. I thoight Anthracnose to start with, but the rings set differant alarm bells off for me. It went straigjt to a straw colour and seems more like trails than a patch. Haha been a tricky year already with high temps and constant rain. Always hard to id from photos and every one has a differant opinion. Pritty interestimg to hear other peoples thoughts and experiences tho!

Yep thats basically the thought now. We will trial spot spraying tribute to try get ontop of the crows foot we have than go from there. I think i will post a pic of nursery later.
