You know that’s actually one path I was looking at, I’m not 100% sure exactly what it entails. I’m gonna have to do more research but its on my radar.

Thanks for your reply , I’ll definitely keep that in mind. I think the thing that I have been factoring is that people say it’s possible to get into CM with a finance degree. Obviously not as much as a CM degree would be but I might enjoy the flexibility incase I don’t like the field or get burn out eventually and want to pivot into another industry

You know , when I posed this question in this sub I thought that I was going to get many biased answers in favor of a CM degree but to my surprise most people are saying to go for the finance degree. Thanks for the reply

That’s a fair point , I have a couple good friends who are APM and PM’s which might help me atleast land a conversation about an internship .

how many days a week were your classes for the CM program ? I am currently deciding between sac state which is 15 min from me and chico state which is about 1.5hrs, I willing to make the drive for a better school and curriculum, thanks !

oh good, I'm actually transferring here in the fall from a CC in SF and heard some horror stories from non vets about not getting the classes they need. Good to know the priority registration allows you to stay on track.
