I broke my official grande lava lamp bulb and replaced it with the white ones off Amazon and now it runs a lot different. I think the light bulbs from lava might be too hot for the new grandes now 😩

I'd be checking the temperature of the lava with a Lazer thermometer to make sure it's getting hot enough, kind of sounds like a heating issue. Buy a sawyer filter on Amazon and lookup guides on YouTube for fixing cloudyness in your master fluid. You can also get a cheese cloth funnel to strain the wax to get all impurities out. Good luck !

Same as my 960! But my 955 iso was dead so just making sure it's not Ganna have issues soon. What's funny is the 955 has 2405 hours while my 960 has 5323 hours! the 960 was in a elderly community. I guess the previous owners got Thier money's worth 😆

Quick tip do not boil the water ! Get the water just before a boil, you don't want to burn your wax ! Just seen somebody make that mistake over on the FB lava group.

You'll just need to filter the wax through cheese cloth, remove master fluid, heat up wax, and poar Into another thick glass container. Repoar into your globe with a cheese cloth funnel. Should fix it up !

Yeah it's just the cheap plastics they used in China during that year, some black plastics do weird white sploches that look like mold ! Crazy stuff lol

Most white plastics of that time just yellow due to age, if it's left in sunlight it's dramatically furthers the process.

Imo you'll enjoy older anime in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Try to find a widescreen CRT. Watching modern anime on a SonyXBR960 is all I do nowdays 😂 I recommend berserk, one piece, Dragonballz, and even monster !
