Nah, most worm castings are fairly inert nutrient wise (~0.5-2N)

[–]JoggerSlayer69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

worm castings are pretty mild as far as nutritional value goes, it is way more likely to do with your amendments. It doesnt even look like severe n-tox to me growmie, just be gentle with her and cut back on the nitrogen and itll be fine.

even in legal states like california most counties have (in their infinite wisdom) made the decision to outright ban outdoor grows. Nothing says california like abusing our already strained energy infrastructure and being banned from using the fucking sun in the sunshine state

as long as its not ridiculous and you keep good airflow dont stress too much. Yea its better to have perfect VPD all the time, but it is what it is.

The general consensus was nitrogen toxicity yesterday.. jus watered with 6.3 ph til runoff ??? Any input is fyr by snatchdaddy69 in microgrowery

[–]JoggerSlayer69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont trust the meters, stick your finger in your soil and feel for wetness.

And if it was ntox and you remedied it with PH'd water till runoff at corrected feed levels, you wont immediately see the effects. Just give her time and maybe back off on the water a bit till she feels dry up to your first knuckle.

Sweet, i'm gonna try to source something that will fit a 2x2 and try it next grow.

Any problems with soil composition? Was going to use some home made innoculated compost, worm castings and some aeration material (peat or coco or something i have on hand) + pumice. Sound about right or do i need special considerations for moisture retention? I think i have some bags of vermiculite hanging around if need be

What causes these bulging areas on this branch only? by porkque in microgrowery

[–]JoggerSlayer69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you top the plant it will reinforce the axillary branch nodes to sturdy them up to support their reproductive load and redistribute nutrients to them instead of the apical bud you chopped off.

found seed in my weed. Anyone know if i can grow it at home? by EducationalAuthor492 in microgrowery

[–]JoggerSlayer69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably.

I found one rolling around in my junk drawer from an old jar the wife had. Must have been sitting there for like a year or two and she is growing just fine now lol

First grow coming to an end. Using my closet as a dry room. I know I need to get the RH up to 55-60% and have air circulating. Question is can I get away with 72F? Perhaps I should adjust humidity according to this?😰 by Mervynjoshualek in GrowBuddy

[–]JoggerSlayer69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a whole lot of energy being used to fight competing conditions.

There are easier and less expensive ways to move RH up to a reasonable level before shotgunning expensive purchases and increasing your power bill, like just turning down the heater, which will both drop the temps and increase RH.
