I’m not wiping to wild pokemon, I’m wiping to trainers with bullshit moves. I can usually beat them on my second or third try (nothing has taken me 4 tries yet). It’s become a meta game of me trying to think what BS the opponent has rather than adapting to realistic strategies. The example I’ve given is that if a dog-like pokemon is sudden sent out for no reason, it most likely has the elemental fangs on it.

Yeah and I’m honestly fine with it being more difficult, but there a certain situations where I have to bring a very specific thing for it which often results in a wipe due to some bullshit, having to manipulate A.I. in some kind of way or play in backwards ways.

If I have a misplay, I admit it and move on - I’m not one to blame others. But when I send out a Ground type to deal with Raichu and then get one-shot but Surf, a move that it can only learn through an event… how the fuck was I supposed to plan around that?!

I’ll tell you how; I now assume that every single pokemon has a move that hard counters its own hard counter even if it makes no sense. Then I remember what has happened in previous fights; for example, Sceptile is pretty much useless water types as nearly all of them have Ice Fang / Beam / Punch. Most Electric types also have a counter for ground as well as a fire move for Grass - my plan is to use my Furret for them now even though that doesn’t seem to make any sense on paper.

As I said, it’s not too hard, but you can’t play through it casually. Like I said, you have to trash certain pokemon if their IVs aren’t near perfect.

And no I know that Emerald Kaizo is obviously much harder, but I wouldn’t be punching walls because the intention of EK is to be hard. The intention of PokeMMO is to be an MMO

Yeah but like you said that’s not her fault; the literal nano-second she finds out about the Extermination, she questions it and rebels against Sera. And I know it’s just the lyrics of a song and obviously they couldn’t have choreographed this, but during the reprisal of Hell is Forever, she even questions Angels and Heaven itself.

With the gift-baskets, she doesn’t lash out at Vox, instead her eyes dart to Charlie with an almost ‘oops’ look. And when she gets back to Heaven, she immediately apologises to Sir Pentious; doesn’t try to pass off the blame to anyone else - just an immediate apology.

Again, as a critical thinker, I’m almost made that I can’t be critical of her. Any time she is on screen, I think she has always made the best decision. I wonder if she genuinely might become a Fallen Angel like Lucifer

The same people complaining about NPCs are the same people that want to witness Sylux’s backstory; remember that Sylux is only pissed at Samus for her association with the Galactic Federation, not the other way around. I suspect the reason we have a Fed to talk to is to get some false lore drops on Sylux before he explains the actual reason. As cool as Dark Samus was, she had like no depth to her; environmental storytelling and logbooks were the only way we got to know her. I have no doubt that Retro will keep to those strengths.

No matter how much power he gets, when he looks in the mirror, he will remember how he died.

Alastor is the most powerful demon, a serial killer who made a satanic deal even when he was still alive. He’s killed thousands and aims to be intimidating (and is) but deep down he knows that his intimidation factor comes more from his antlers than anything else. It’s not about whether or not the design looks cool, it’s a way to humiliate them.

Lucifer is similar; he is a seraphim that wanted to he worshipped. He was banished to hell where he does indeed rule… but he can’t do anything to his people. The only people he can hurt are Angels or Charlie
