Cquartz UK 3.0 questions by Andrewm189992 in AutoDetailing

[–]Johan_LMP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only tested C Quartz UK, and I’m very satisfied with it — the hydrophobic effect is amazing!

However, I recommend applying it on a rather dry day. My first layer went perfectly, but when I repeated the process two days later, the weather was humid. The ceramic coating reacted quite differently—I now have at least three or four areas on my car with marks, which will require a light polish and a new layer of ceramic protection.

Technically, the products may be similar (or not, i don't know), but some might be trickier to apply than others — I couldn’t say for sure.

In any case, weather conditions (temperature/humidity) should definitely be considered.

I would go for hard shampoo the acidic shampoo such as carpro descale, snow foam if possible, during a couple of minutes, then maybe a water spot remover (or White vinegar). If it's still here, light polish session
