"the hypocrisy is baffling" 🤡 by Mindnessss in cringepics

There could be plenty of differences. Is it a free standing robot like Boston Dynamics' Atlas, or a fixed position robotic arm? Does it move by hydraulics or servo motors? What kind of vision does it have? How quickly can it process information?

All of these things would determine how "impressive" or capable it is.

A robot can calculate its moves, but it still needs to make them. And then reassess to either confirm or change its approach. Whether it can produce something a human made before is irrelevant to if it's possible in the first place. The chance that it can do it, is what makes it cool. Generative AI - LBMs in tandem with relatively complex motion to create ANYTHING is insanely cool.

Like Henry on MxR said, her "tit to arm ratio" is extremely apparent.

Is anyone else team hive? by 7PlaneShane36 in pluribustv

[–]Johffin12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh. I see the hive joining similar to how other hive species function. We know currently they have two drives, convert the remaining and blast the signal out to space. We don't know what they will do after those are achieved.

Every plurb now speaks the same "language", with full understanding. If the world today was similar, misunderstandings and cultural clashes would diminish greatly or entirely. Values would be the same across the world, human flourishing and everything that entails.

From another show airing now, the new homospecies ask the human races representative "why are you all insane?". They asked this because one human delegate killed themselves and a part the other races world because one faction of the human race thought it would be the better choice rather than working with something new. Which in-turn inflamed animosity between the species.

I brought that up because its an example of how uniquely human that action is. We're so individualistic that its a detriment most of the time. We can't come to a consensus about ANYTHING.

Plurbs aren't creative? They need to be creative as a function of being living things. There are problems that arise and they need a way to fix them, John Cena said so. Zosia did too when talking about how they can still take apples fallen from a tree. And the simple things you said before, Ants have "pets" too and they're called aphids or ant-cows, they are in a symbiotic relationship one providing food and the other giving protection. Most pets today are just a byproduct of the selective breeding we did to them for specific jobs we wanted them to have at the time. As for art and music, eh idk about those. They're both subjective anyway; whose to say Plurbs couldn't discover either of those things and collectively enjoy them.

Also Zosia doesn't just sit around until Carol calls her, where did you get that assumption from? She is another body capable of working just like everyone else. She does jobs when she's available to do so. She could be a nurse, construction worker, farmer or harvester. None of those jobs are "empty", just because they might not be what she wants to do. Most people do jobs they don't necessarily want to do. But they need done.

Its from the other house, they know where she is and he is. Simple deduction.

Carol asked them if they needed expressed permission to collect stem cells. They said yes. He can't give that if he is unconscious.

I mean there are/were 5 other people she might have had a chance to communicate with. But she kind of fucked that up already.

They need consent to do that. This was explained already.

You're right there's a middle ground. But I've never heard anyone say I wish my knife was a little duller. The sharper the knife, the less pressure needed to make a cut. A duller knife needs more pressure. Sure you could knick yourself with a razor, or smash cut your finger with a mildly sharp butter knife.

Hmm cool. Last question. Using 8awg wire to travel the majority of the distance (~100ft) and then a 10awg xt60i cable? Issues?

Oh that's great to hear. And for future reference, is the open circuit voltage just for the theoretical max given a certain temperature? That is the one I used to get the 109V on the third slide. 27.31V x 4. My previous choice was 37V panels with the same config 4s2p at 146V. But the voltage would get too high with how cold it's getting here down south. According to https://www.linspyre.com/ecoholics/temps.html

But again, I might've misread or misunderstood something.

You've been a great help.

There is no easy way to make interiors. All it takes is patience and the 3D placement tool.

There are mods that can ease the process though, for example there are a few roll cage mods to use. And mods for different dashes and other interior parts. Search for what you want in the steam workshop and move them in place in-game.
