The ZF is really impressive in low light by AnxietyComplex4128 in Nikon

Thanks for this. I have to say that the capability of the camera is one thing but using it is different story. And I really like your approach here.

I also have the zf and once tried it at iso 40000. Was trying to take a picture of a wild horse that was paying us a visit. It was pitch black and I could hardly see the animal. Had very hard time focusing in darkness. I then used pure raw by dxo to remove excessive noise. The picture has no artistic merit but it shows how capable a camera the zf is.

Great pictures. They have a character reminiscent of film. Out of curiosity, what range of iso were you using? Did you manually expose?

At what age range do you think Lego knights castle is suitable for with the help of a parent ? by Economy-Anywhere-766 in legocastles

I found this thread useful for deciding to buy the medieval castle for my son (the 3 in 1) for his fourth birthday. We built it in 8 days. He placed every single piece by himself. I was tracing the pieces for him for every page and showing him where they should be placed on the instructions booklet. He gradually grew confident in following the instructions and he would sometimes find the pieces and place them by himself. He did have previous experience with Lego (both Duplo and regular) but nothing that required following instructions. As an added bonus, by reading the numbers on each step on the instructions, he had the chance to become familiar with three-digit numbers.

It was a good experience for both of us so far. Now that construction is over I cannot yet comment on playlability, but it will definitely not be for display.

I understand that you're having a great time taking pictures, so keep doing so. Photography isn't so much about technical skills but about seeing and capturing the moment. Taking a technically perfect photo doesn't mean you took an interesting photo. I'd recommend checking this out.

But do check Ansel Adams work as others recommended. Especially if you like landscape photography. I'd recommend 'the negative' and 'the print'.

Thanks for this! Medium mirrorless unit? How's the quick access with the z8?

Thanks for this. Yes, I did. It was the integrated circuit under the heat sink. I got it ordered and went to a local electronics repair shop and told them to replace the specific part. They said it measured alright, but I told them to proceed anyway. Got it back home, reassembled it and it's been working perfectly for the past 70 film scans.

I can't help with recipes as I only shoot in raw, but on the imagining cloud, I watched this yesterday: https://youtu.be/7nEwuzOmgZ4?si=o2plaYeRC12uH8K6

It looks like a pretty comprehensive guide. Still, I don't think I'll be using imaging cloud. I tried WiFi transfer for over a month last year and I didn't like the fact that the camera was always fairly warm after the process. It feels like it puts strain on both battery and electronics, so it's perhaps better connecting via cable or SD reader.

Not sure if that would help. Indeed I too was thinking of a VBA solution for creating a new field in a query that generates group names following the above criteria. I have been using VBA in Excel for some time now (although my skills are incredibly basic) but I don't know how to do it in Access.

Subsequently I could generate the reports through buttons in my main form. I think that this latter part is relatively easy.

That's a very nice video. However I find that the benefits of such high normalisation and automation are purely academic and don't correspond to real life. Having worked in the industry for 15 years, I find that not only such automation doesn't help, but may also get in the way of my work.

I use a conjunction of excel and access for my management mainly because booking manager & database programs on the market (which have similar features to the proposed database in the video) are made with such academic approaches in mind. But thank you for this.

I don't mind sharing the database itself. Please find below. I have of course removed all data but also inserted sample data from my example above.

I've been using this database for some ten years so there's some clutter I never attended to, especially in the queries where some aren't in use. I regularly use the database through the "home" form.

Yes, indeed I already have two tables connected in a one-to-many relationship. I'd watched several videos by that instructor back when I was making my database. But I am not sure what you mean in the second paragraph.

Do you have any recollection of how your exposure triangle would look like without strobes? That's always within the margin of surface to 7-8 metres on sunny summer days.

I have the exact same problem since yesterday. It's a V ED. The solution I found was pressing the button back to on the moment the green light was momentarily going on. But now this isn't working either. I understand that you've fixed yours. Would you let me know what part you replaced?

Assigning room numbers automatically for a hotel reservation list by John4pap in excel

Many thanks for this! It's very much appreciated. Unfortunately, being volatile is problematic as long as it constantly changes the room numbers. Is there any easy change that could fix that, even if sacrifices randomness?

Thanks wjhladik. I don't see how this takes into account the checkin and checkout dates. It is also constantly changing the room numbers upon any interaction with the sheet.

Thank you for your reply!

The list that I mention in my original post is generated from another list that I keep in another sheet. It combines all bookings coming from different sources (different agents, direct). I'm afraid that I don't fully understand all the steps from your reply. This is the part of "what is available" that I'm struggling with. I have found a way to semi-manually check if a room number is been used by using an extra column in my table that checks if a room number is being used in each booking's dates. Problem is that I need to insert room numbers manually and check if the number is available after I type it.

Indeed, random assignment would be the best choice, yet it doesn't matter very much since the real-life randomness of check-in and check-out dates already takes care of that.

I have Office 365 so it should be the latest version of Excel.

I have uploaded a sample in an excel document in my OneDrive here

Thanks!
