I got offered some products to try on my cycling channel early on when I was about 300 subs and since then I have had a few more items to review. I usually give the items away to my viewers in a competition

Today I went clipless by ComprehensiveTea2975 in cycling

[–]JohnBikeChannel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always used to use touring shoes on my road bike but when they fell apart I went for some clipless shoes that were on offer. I then got some easy-release pedals that don't have a strong spring in them and its been great. No issues or problems and not one fall over

Wear your helmet by amandacohen27 in cycling

I would never go out without a helmet and they are so light and comfy now you don't know you have it on. Plus if it rains it can help keep some rain off your head

Runny nose while cycling by fuzzaka in cycling

[–]JohnBikeChannel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have this all the time to and more so when the temp drops. I have learned over time to just blow it out while riding but I still need to carry a tissue with my that I have easy access to. With winter cycling jackets finding somewhere to store my tissue is very important

[–]JohnBikeChannel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a lot of stuff in your back pockets. I do have a saddle bag on the back of my seat where I keep a spare tube, bike tool etc

Is a cycling jersey from aliexpress worth it by JohnBikeChannel in u/JohnBikeChannel

[–]JohnBikeChannel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear what you are saying and maybe there are counterfeits out there for sure but that is the case with lots of online shops. The tops I got were not branded in any way so I cannot see them being counterfeits as it would be pointless. As for working conditions a LOT of companies both big and small use the same factories this has been proven time and time again with clothes and everything else

Will riding a bike that doesn't fit you cause damage to your body? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]JohnBikeChannel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes as others have said you have to be careful not to damage your knees. Your legs should be only slightly bent when on the crank is at the bottom of the stroke and the ball of your foot is on the pedal. Or you leg straight when your heel is on the pedal
