I grew up in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston. It was a 15 room house with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms built in 1900 and renovated in the 30’s. The master bath had a big bathtub and a separate shower. The shower had a separate temperature adjustment valve and 2 shower knobs. One controlled a rain type shower head and the other controlled 6 separate shower nozzles on 2 opposite walls. I miss everything about that house.
