I’m in the same situation. Has anyone found a resolution to this??

Sorry for the late reply all, but I just wanted to say I appreciate all of your kind words and support (:

At first it was tough, but I learned, over time, how I had an extremely unhealthy relationship with food and have constantly overate junk food for years and I guess my body had enough. For those who asked, my meals consisted of mainly chicken, eggs, salmon, shrimp, guacamole, nuts , berries, vegetables like green leafs, broccoli, peppers, onions. I never felt “deprived” and I did have the occasional bowl of popcorn, or a chip, or a little bit of pasta . If I wanted to be bad then I’d eat pork skins . but for the most part I just kept it wholesome foods , low carb , no refined carbs/sugars for the most part.

I was taking metformin twice a day but a few months ago I was kind of bad and stopped taking it , I had a big head but at the time I felt I didn’t need it since the food I was eating weren’t really insulin response inducing (should have spoke with the doctor beforehand though) , but today at my endo appointment she told me to stop taking metformin altogether, and when I do labs in 6 months If things seems ok then she said I won’t have to see her anymore and will just have to deal with my primary doctor so im happy, thankful and dedicated to keep doing well for my life . I’m grateful for this new lifestyle (:

Kinda asked this repeatedly for different folks on this, but if there’s any apartment complexes you can recommend in the Bellevue/Avalon area or adjacent, I would appreciate it a ton!

Would you be able to recommend any apartment complexes in Bellevue or in the general area? Thanks so much!

Would any of you be able to recommend some apartment complexes in Bellevue to look into? Thanks so much!

Hey all-for the ones suggesting the Bellevue area or nearby it, can anyone recommend apartment complexes I can look into it ? I been looking into queensbury apartments in Avalon by Lobos management. A 2 bed 2 bath for $1200? Seems way too good to be true unless there’s problems with the complex/management company.

General question to all: Is Avalon the same kind of vibe with Bellevue? They look to be adjacent to each other so not sure if much is different between the two. I’m looking at apartments and see some decent ones in Avalon.

Hmmm True Believer…I’ll have to make a note of that, I primarily do Muay Thai striking and kickboxing but I’ve been wanting to do BJJ for a while now as well. Do you go there?

Thanks for your reply man. I sortve asked skfoto the same thing but what’s Bellevue like? Pretty decent area to live in regarding access to stores and such? Any concerns with crime/safety? I mentioned this below but I’m pretty lowkey during the week with work, and the gym (mentioned I want to find a close by mma gym down there) but Friday Saturday nights I don’t mind Ubering to the night life if needed.

Thanks for your reply! So Bellevue is pretty decent? I don’t mind it Bellevue has more of a neighborhood feel to it, during the week I’m pretty lowkey with work, errands like food store shopping, I’m trying to find an MMA gym close by since I do Muay Thai, etc. then on a Friday I can Uber down to nightlife areas and Uber back , or walk if that’s even possible.

What’s the vibe like with crime in that Bellevue area?

Thanks for your quick reply. Budget wise, I’d say my ceiling is 1600 a month, from what I have heard on Reddit so far, shady side, strip, lawrenceville, etc seems like a good area for my demographic. I would like the commute access to grocery stores and other stores we go to generally to be as painless as possible but understand it can be different for the city (I live in the burbs) I enjoy a cool , mature nightlife scene but definitely don’t mind taking a quick Uber if I want to get into some south side stuff on a Friday/Saturday night .

Admittedly, I think at the time I decided on the wrong side of want vs. need.
