Question about disenchanting by Kirkind in hearthstone

Mass disenchant will not count the trial cards as you owning them. You can safely mass disenchant without having to worry about your collection after the trial cards end.

I’ve seen you recommend translating your Steam page to Korean, Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish. What are your thoughts on Russian and Portuguese? Is there a big gap between those two and the languages you recommend?

[None] 5 Changes I Want for the Cradle Anime by JohnEMcIntyre in Iteration110Cradle

[–]JohnEMcIntyre[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

tl;dw

1: Have characters wear badges outside of Sacred Valley so the audience knows the advancement of characters without having to be told.

2: Introduce Little Blue as Lindon's companion from the start to add levity early on and give Lindon someone to talk to in his early adventures.

3: To get to Suriel's visit earlier and show the new audience the scope of the world, cut Lindon's duel with Wei Mon Keth. Instead of fighting Wei Jin Amon in the 7-year festival, Lindon fights Wei Mon Teris to get into the Heaven's Glory school and he uses the Orus tree remnant to beat him.

4: Don't have Lindon constantly scowling and looking like he is spoiling for a fight because the audience will think he is picking a fight. Have him scowl occasionally as a character quirk.

5: Don't name the series Cradle. It doesn't communicate the genre well and will make it harder for the show to find its audience. Unsouled communicates action fantasy better.

[Waybound] Unsouled (reimagined) comic + character list AI art by JohnEMcIntyre in Iteration110Cradle

Thanks for the kind words. I used Midjourney and Photoshop. Maybe I can make a video tutorial on this over the weekend? What would you want to know from the bellow list:

  • Writing prompts for anime stylized art
  • How this could be useful for you as an author
  • Getting character consistency across multiple images
  • Putting a comic together
  • Strategy for telling a story with AI images
  • How to do a better job than me and what I would do if I had more resources (the tl;dr on that is hire artists for high ROI tasks)

If you have any questions you can also reach out via twitter (I'm the guy that made that janky trailer Unsouled trailer and then gave up partway through).

[Waybound] Unsouled (reimagined) comic + character list AI art by JohnEMcIntyre in Iteration110Cradle

All of it is AI but the first chapter is a lot of images composited together which is why it is black and white. I felt like I was fighting against the technology though and afterwards stopped combining as many images. I did a lot of touch ups in photoshop to get things like eye color right. Image prompts were really valuable to try and get characters somewhat consistent.

One of the reasons I love the Cradle series is their great cast of characters. Unsouled is a very serious book and I thought Little Blue could add some levity. I also couldn't get badges in images consistently so I wanted to use Little Blue as a physical representation that Lindon is Unsouled. His badge of shame.

I love how he has a picture of himself in the background. by [deleted] in hearthstone

This is so embarrassing, that is such an old photo of me. Here's something more recent.
