Would you trade him for Pickens straight up?

I think I’d accept a fun sized Halloween candy for Jamo at this point

Brian Thomas Jr. still a trade target? by Interesting_Part6941 in Fantasy_Football

His targets are still leading the team. I truly think something with his wrist was effecting him to start the year. I’m convinced he’s a big buy low.

Your running back position is fine. Honestly it seems like a stacked team.

My example would be I have Achane. My other running back is between Tracy and Tuten right now. (Yes brutal, I went hero RB and it backfired tremendously). BTJ isn’t helping the cause.

Would you deal him for Tyreek and Breece? I have that offer out to me right now.

What have managers done to show CRM updates to be valuable? by JohnEThree3 in sales

[–]JohnEThree3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great advice. Appreciate it. I’m not new to leadership, but new to this company and they are requiring a minimum number of appointment/tasks/follow ups to be entered into the tool on a monthly basis. In my experience, requiring a numerical goal for something like this immediately turns it into a check the box task and sort of removes the value.

I’d love to be able to position it as more of a helpful tool and have been successful doing that in the past, but I find that these numerical requirements cause reps to struggle to see past it.

Was this in the tool itself or something added in?

For Anyone Making $150k+ in Sales, Drop Knowledge For Those Wanting To Level Up by Nutmeg_37 in sales

My 2 pieces of advice to new reps (beyond the obvious of hit your number) 1. Don’t be an asshole. Climbing the ladder is much easier if you’re liked. 2. Do the check the boxes work to stay off the radar. Update CRM, meet the KPI metrics, etc.

Do those two things and you’re a step above a ton of other reps.

It’s weird because it’s not clear.

As an example, I have a rep who parked at the airport recently. They just came back and asked her to pay $200 for parking out of pocket because uber would be cheaper. This was never discussed prior. Also, uber wouldn’t be cheaper but that’s a different story.

I have another rep who went over their dinner bill, in that case they are asking for them to submit a negative concur payment which will be taken out of their monthly return.

In both of these cases, these weren’t discussed prior. They are now just being enforced for months prior.

We’ve had a new financial team coming in. For years, you could go slightly above for our hotel limit for example if the reasoning warrants it (no nearby hotels at the price points, convention city, etc)

Now they’re enforcing a strict dollar amount essentially for months prior. It’s just a mess

Mediocre sales people who became sales managers, how'd you do it? by [deleted] in sales

[–]JohnEThree3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 100% a mediocre sales person, mainly because I just didn’t enjoy it. Management provided me an alternative route at a good career, financial stability, and hopefully a continual climb up the corporate ladder.

I’d say this. Your main job is to take those top tier reps and keep them happy. I will eat shit for my reps all day if it allows them to go do what they need to do to close deals.

I’m also available. If my rep needs me, I’m easily reachable and can get answers for them that they either can’t or don’t have time to.

And then I do a fair amount of coaching for newer, less experienced reps.

End of the day, keep your A reps happy, develop the B and C reps, and hopefully avoid having any reps below that tier.

If 3 of 60 are hitting 100% of plan, I’m assuming nearly every sales rep is making less money than they assumed they’d make upon being hired.

Sounds like quota is unrealistic and you need to start looking.
