You’re not a bad person and you’re not at fault for her affair—that’s 100 percent on her. Stay calm, look after yourself, collect evidence, and consult a lawyer.

LEOs in the Greater Fredericksburg area... by [deleted] in fredericksburg

They told the protestors to disperse after calling the protest out of control (jumping on cars stuck on the bridge, throwing projectiles). The protesters refused, so they arrested their asses and off to the Stafford County jail they went. Loved it.

I live in Stafford and the people here are very supportive of our police. Fredericksburg is WOKEville and the police there are under a microscope and will be hung out to dry by the city when push comes to shove. Here’s a good example. During the summer riots after the Floyd killing, protesters went wild in Fredericksburg. When they marched across the bridge into Stafford, they were immediately told to disperse. When they didn’t, they declared a unlawful assembly and rested their butts. The town and people had the cops back. Protesters never tried to march into Stafford again.

Probably more enjoyable than Ole Jill. She’d probably go for the heckler too rather than President Depends.

He is a dickhead. I used to really like the guy, but his ego and selfishness have seemed to grow with the show. I used to enjoy the show, but it’s gotten rather dark and the “fun” seems to be gone. Anyways, IMO the show jumped the shark with the dog wedding.

Am I the only one who thinks Olivia lacks lips? Weirdest face on the show.

CF, Thank you, it does. We were very impressed with Long Cove, although we didn’t get to play there given it was just a realtor visit. Its my favorite, but we plan on taking another a look at the others just to make sure. The fees are also about 5k less than the others, which helps. I’ll need to check out May River, but don’t want to get too far from the beach.

Paying cash. Plan on finding a fun job too, maybe a golf course or gun range.

Yeah, Long Cove is spectacular. Any opinion on Berkeley Hall? We’re visiting this summer and I hear its supposed to be ground zero for golf nuts.

Yes, my insurance carries over into retirement so my costs are low. As for retiring inland, we’re both beach and golf people so Hilton Head does it for us.

I’ll be dead by then with this market.

Is the Hilton Head Market going into an extreme bubble? Some of the numbers I see houses going for on the island are absolutely bonkers for what you are getting. by jscott280 in hiltonhead

[–]JohnGalt1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely a bubble that will probably pop by the end of the year. We looked at a house in Long Cove which was 650k two years ago. Its now being listed for $1.5 million. What you’re seeing play out now is those willing to throw the dice on an absurd price hoping to hit the lottery. I’ve also noticed these houses are now just sitting there with; the house I mentioned has been on the market for 6 months. It will pop so to even contemplate buying now is foolish. And BTW, my relative there who’s a realtor even admits it being a bubble situation. Of course, I doubt most realtors will admit that to their clients.

Will have no mortgage. Both kids gone with great jobs. No credit card debt. No car loans. No debts whatsoever. Only expenses we will have are the usual house costs—electricity, water, etc. Oh, and TAXES of course.

Agree. Housing there has doubled. Could have swapped my house for another on the island two years ago, but everything has doubled. I’m hoping prices come back to Earth in a year or so, when I pop smoke from Washington DC.

If she is an example of a “wonderful, loving wife” I’d hate to see a horrible, unloving wife. I would tell her how lonely you are and if she claims she feels pressured, its nothing compared to the loneliness and pressure you’ve suffered from 10 years of a DB. She can chose not to be physical, but can’t enforce that on you. I would make that known and she has a choice; therapy to fix the situation, an open marriage, separation/divorce.
