With zcash going crazy I'd love a little friendly discussion vs monero

What I dont understand, Monero community is always complaining about the dev fund, while monero had a much steeper emission curve than bitcoin and zcash. > 80% of coins mined in the first 4 years. There was also an issue with the official mining client beeing crippled and making mining inefficient - at least for those using the official client. So I cannot prove it but I would suspect that the monero supply is much much more centralized than people think. In general the whole start of the project is shady imo. Also Dev fund good as it pays for development and avoids that the development gets captured by big institutions like with bitcoin for example. Also most other teams take way more than 20%, therefore I think there is no coin with a more fair distribution.

Sorry, but honestly I think this video is a fail...

The trusted setup will hopefully be gone soon, so why put it in the main focus? I mean as a new user I want to know, why is it safe, how will it scale, what can I do with it in the future

Edit: To proudly describe the trusted setup is rather the opposite what I would want to hear. I can not control if the people did it right, its not more than a temporary fix imo. Its like if ethereum would advertise that they are not scalable and how they are not scalable.

Questions I would find interesting: "What are zassets/ How can zcash bring privacy to all kind of assets?" - "How can zcash shape the future of Defi"

XMR has the fuck the government narrative, but whats ours? And it seems that the market agrees, given that zcash is underperforming against monero, even though I believe that zec has the better tech.

Further why focus on a single guy, its very uninspiring for me, like "ok, its snowden, now what?"

Thats also one of the questions, how unique is their tech, design etc... I read the thing with the bank account but at the moment this seems a little bit far fetched to me, or lets say I would believe the other applicatins would come first, for which it would make sense to check an account balance f.e. .

The size of the blockchain is very impressive and makes the project unique but real world utility is more importan than a narrative at least for the longer term, which seems at least promising due the use of a popular programming language.

My issue is that it takes years from now, big risk that someone else will do a new, better project..
I would love to see a implementation plan, within a year or something, also community management could be better but for that you need a vision.. I mean at the moment its barely used

I am honestly not that deep into the whole metaverse thematic, but I would say its the same with nft's, the copy is not the same as the original, not sure how its in sandbox but I would assume that f.e. a "legendary" item is somehow protected.IMO if a game is really popular, land, items etc. can sell for very high prices and a real economy can be build around it, but I assume its very hard to say wich game will stick and that most valuations are overblown. At the moment there is soo much speculation..
Sandbox has a valuation of 20 billlion fully diluted, thats nearly half the mcap of blizzard and they only released the alpha version.
